Artemis knocked on piper's and Leo's door. "Uncle Leo...." Artemis wanted to talk to her uncle leo, she wondered why the elders gave her a cupid ring even though she was only half cupid.

Leo was just finishing cleaning up when a knock came to the door. He heard a voice call out and ask for him. "Come in Artemis" he said as he turned and smiled at her. "What brings you up here?" he asked, wondering why she was looking for him. But he didn't mind, that was what he was here for.

She opened the door slowly. "Can we talk... Please?" She smiled weakly "I actually wanted to ask you something." She held up her hand that she wore her cupids ring on. "Why me? why not Aph... or Lily?" Artemis's relationships never lasted of she fell for the wrong guy, She was just unlucky in love. Arte didn't get why she blessed with cupids abilities when she was only half cupid.

"Sure Arte" he said as he listened to her. As she held up her hand, he saw the Cupids Ring. "Here come sit" Leo said as he patted the bed next to him. "The Elders have a tricky way of working with people. But as I've come to know them, I have realized that they are never wrong. By giving you this ring, they must think that you are ready. To be honest, so do I" he said as he smiled and looked at her.

"I don't.... Its a big.... huge responsibility." She said as she sat down next to him. "One that I don't think I can handle.." She smiled weakly when leo said that he thought that she was ready. "I'm not even Full cupid..... only half."

"You may be half Cupid, but that doesn't mean that you don't have the full power. I know it is a big responsibility. I'll let you in on a little secret. When I first became a Whitelighter, I was scared. I had just come out of the War, and I thought I was still dead. But I got a second chance, just like many other WHitelighters have gotten. Orbing, cloaking, healing, all those powers and more were very hard to learn, and in a short amount of time. There is one thing that you have that I didn't. You have the support of your family and that is the most important thing Arte" Leo said as he smiled.

Arte smiled weakly, She was good with other people's relationships. Like the last time Aunt Piper and Uncle Leo had a huge fight, Arte had sat them both down and helped them sort it out - at the time she hadn't known that, that was one of her powers. "How do you do that?" She asked with a smile "Make someone feel better without even trying I mean."

Leo smiled. "Well I just do it. I can't really explain it. Maybe because it's because I'm an Angel, I don't know. But what I have learned over the years is that if you listen to people, the response automatically comes from your heart" hea said, once again smiling.

"Sometimes that works too. But if you learn one thing from me, let it be this. Whenever you are in a tough situation, and don't know what to do, think of the one person you trust most deeply. Think of what they would do in that sort of situation, and you have your answer. Trust me, it works every time" he said as he gave her a reassuring smile.

Arte didn't even have to think about who she trusted most deeply - she already knew. Her mother. "You used to tell me that when i was younger" She didn't really understand what he meant by it then but now she knew. Her mom was the one person Arte told everything to. Well if you couldn't talk to your mom then who could you talk to?

"Yes, well it's one of the things I strongly stick by. Also, if you are in any kind of trouble and need help, I'm only a call away. Even if it's at school. I may only be the orbing teacher at school, but I am much, much more than that" he said, giving her a wink. It felt good with the reassurance that he was an Elder now.

"Huh?" He asked, as he redirected his attention back to Arte. "Can you keep a secret?" he asked, wondering if it was alright if he told her. He of course, already knew his answer to this, but he was stalling. That's what he did best, besides make people feel better.

She nodded, Of course Artemis could keep a secret. Everyone told her their secrets because they knew she would keep her mouth shut and only give advice if asked for it. She was a good listener - she took after her aunt Piper when it came to keeping secrets. "You can tell me..."
