History ::
Six months after her grandmother’s death, having fallen on hard times, Phoebe returned to San Francisco and moved back in with her sisters. Prue was not at all welcoming to Phoebe, because she still believed she ruined her engagement. It was then that Phoebe discovered the Book of Shadows in their attic and learned that she and her sisters were members of a long line of good witches.
After graduating from college with a B.A in Psychology, Phoebe lands a steady and successful job as an advice columnist for the newspaper, "The Bay Mirror". Her column is titled "Ask Phoebe." She attends graduate school to further her studies in Psychology while working for the newspaper, but it is not known whether or not she earned any post-graduate degrees. She has published a best-selling book.
Prior to her work at "The Bay Mirror", Phoebe had accepted multiple odd jobs (especially during her six-month stay in New York). Upon her return to San Francisco in the autumn of 1998, she had been a bartender, a hotel lounge psychic, a hospital volunteer, and an executive secretary at SWA Properties, a real estate company.
Phoebe and her sisters Piper and Paige were collectively called the "Charmed Ones". They served as powerful good witches who protected the innocent as best as they could. Out of all the sisters, Phoebe is seen to be the master of spell-writing. Phoebe authored a spell for vanquishing The Source that used the power of the Halliwell's witch ancestors. She also helped The Seer to put the Hollow back in its crypt.
Since discovering her powers, Phoebe has turned into a warlock, a banshee, the Queen of the Underworld, a mermaid, a superhero, a Greek goddess (of Love), a genie, a ghost, a mummy, a witch beast that came out during a blue moon (along with Piper and Paige) and was trapped in the body of an evil sorceress. She has also died (And obviously came back to life somehow) 9 times.
Personality ::
Phoebe is a loyal, sincere and free-spirited person, normally. That helps her alot in giving advice where apart from a few occasions, she never lets her personal issuses miggle with what she writes in her paper. She is easy-going but over-protective at times. She feels the need to keep her children safe as well as those she loves.
Phoebe also has a romantic side to her but this lead her to a lot of trouble in the past, especially with Cole. After having her heart broken several times she finally met Coop, a Cupid who revived her ability to love. After that, and after the whole Christy incident, she recovered along with her sisters and started back life again.

Piper sat on a couch in the Living Room, feeling as if her insides were tearing up at her. Almost literally. She put her head in her hands. Her appearance was a bit alarming- she looked pale, and Piper was almost never pale. Demons. They were the cause of all her troubles. She hated them- not that hate was a strong enough word. Axelia had stabbed her- though she was healed by Leo, she had felt strange after that. Piper of course didn't know the Atheme was cursed, but she would find out soon enough. But at the moment that definitely wasn't why she hated them.
Her old friend Kyra, who was vanquished by Zankou a long time ago showed her face again. If that wasn't off-catching enough, after some threatening she admitted to Piper what was going on in the Underworld. Just thinking about it Piper felt pained. Zankou was back...along with Cole and the Source. It seemed to horrible to comprehend. But Artemis was also there, and she clarified it. Piper didn't want to believe it though.....all three demons had caused hell in the Halliwells' lives last time, and they would this time. "Why did magic have to be so screwed up?" she asked to no one in particular, but her voice sounded muffled as her head was in her hands.
