Felicity walked into the park kicking rocks as she went into. After she kicked a rock about three feet forward she decided that taking her anger out on the rocks was notworking. She sighed and she felt a headache coming on and started to walk to a bench. It was nearly midnight which was safe enough for Felicity because if she turned invisible there was a small chance of anyone noticing. She had tried jogging around the block of her apartment to clear her head ended up thinking of her childhood in the Underworld and ran straight into the wall of the next building. That was when she decided to go to the park instead but then didn't feel like running anymore. Checking her feet to see if she was still visible anyways she sighed in relief as she sat down. Rubbing her temples slowly with her index and middle fingers she started to remember how earlier that day she had walked into a class room invisible and had been counted late because she was invisible. Felicity had started screaming and everyone had started getting scared. She had no doubt of mind that tomorrow she'd have a detention since her teacher getting over his fright would think it was a prank. Not to mention the little fiasco with her friend Kaitlyn. Looked into her eyes and wham she was over powered with feelings of loss and heartbreak seeing as Kaitlyn had just broken up with her boyfriend. Why oh why did she have to get her powers? It wasn't fair. She didn't want them! Felicity sighed as her headache gotten stronger...

Lucas set out silently through the part one very late night. He liked being out at this time because it was quiet, and that was something that he thrived for, silence. He didn't get much of that in a world as hectic as his was. There were demons after him all the time, there were good people after him sometimes too. It was insane, and he couldn't hardly handle it. He knew that he was half good and half bad, but why did both halves have to attack him? Why couldn't they just leave him alone, and he would do his best to leave them alone too.
He sighed lightly, and brought his left hand up to rub his temple. As he did so he closed his eyes, but continued walking with his eyes closed, hoping that he wouldn't run into anything.

Felicity sighed again. She could not handle this. Se really couldn't handle this. Not to mention she didn't at all deserve this. She stood up having a mind to walk again and went around the bench kicking one of the bench legs hard as she went past but then clenched her jaw as her foot started hurting. She started walking in the unseeing way she walked whenever she was thinking. Thoughts started flooding her mind as she kept walking of why on Earth she couldn't haven't gotten her powers when she was younger? Why couldn't all these damned questions be answered when she was younger? Like where the hell her empathy came from? Felicity's thoughts were interupted as she slammed into a figure taller than her. She stepped back trying to regain her balance but ended up falling instead. Felicity blinked a few times thinking that she could have not run into a tree and a building in only five hours but turned bright red as she saw that she had not run into a tree she run into a human being. Her eyes turned wide as she quickly stood up wondering for only a second how he could have runned into her too. "I'm so sorry," said Felicity quickly. "I didn't see you...walking towards me...did I mention I was sorry?" Felicity realized how stupid she sounded and looked now that she thought of it considering she wasn't even looking at him, she was looking past his shoulder to avoid meeting eyes with him. From the small glance she got at him when she was on the floor trying to figure out what she had run into she had seen the guy looked about her age or even a bit older. She hadn't seen his reaction but she hoped he wasn't angry since she was sooooo not in the mood to deal with that.

Lucas had been walking with his eyes closed for a while now, enjoying the fresh air while trying to get rid of the throbbing in his head, when suddenly he felt an impact. He took a step backwards from the impact and his eyes flashed open to look at who or what he had run into. When he saw that it was a girl, around his eyes, he frowned slightly, in sadness. She quickly began apoligizing, and a small smile spread across Lucas' face. "Don't worry about it."
He looked at her. "Are you okay? I didn't mean to be walking with my eyes closed. I'm sorry too." He added lightly. She seemed fairly nice, but he did wonder why she would be out so late by herself. It could be pretty dangerous out here. But then again if you don't have to worry about supernatural dangers, then it's not quite as bad.

Felicity quickly nodded, still looking past him, as he apologized too but then couldn't help smiling and looking at his face to see if he was serious when he said he had been walking with closed eyes. She realized that was a mistake as she looked him in the eye about to say 'Yeah there's not usually people walking around this time of night huh? I guess we're just special.' But no she had to lock eyes with him. Her body tensed and she exhaled strong as her emotions were slightly doubled, not to mention her headache. He didn't seem confused to her but worried yes. She didn't know what he was worried about. He seemed a bit sad to her too, though of-course that was un-explained to her as well. "Am I ok?" asked Felicity with a bitter laugh shutting her eyes to rid his emotions from her. Then she felt like an imbecile and quickly looked down at her shoes thankful that they were still there even through all this emberassment. "No, I'm not, but you don't seem so well youself you know," snapped Felicity and felt like crossing her arms but knew that would look even more idiotic as she was staring intently at her shoes. Then she realized he said nor made any expression to show that he wasn't ok so that comment was just plain out...random. Especially with someone who supposedly knows nothing about the supernatural and the power she had begun to loathe; empathy.

Lucas slowly looked up and down his own body, holding his arms out slightly to see if he had any gashing wounds or anything. He didn't know why else she would she would say that he didn't seem okay. Then a thought crossed his mind. Could she... He thought for a moment, but then decided that it would be a bad idea to follow yp his suspicion and ask, so he tryed to ignore it but it was kind of gnawing at him and he couldn't stand it anymore. "Why do you think I am not okay?"

Felicity glanced up slightly and felt a sinking feeling in his stomach as he saw Lucas looking at his arms and such to see if she actually had a reasonable explenation for saying he wasn't ok. Of-course there wasn't one so that ended soon. Finally he asked the very question she didn't want to hear and Felicity just shrugged but then decided to look up although she looked right above his eyes. "Just...you're out here tonight, so maybe you have a reason?" muttered Felicity but she even knew it didn't sound very convincing. She inwardly cursed herself; she was sooooo stupid!

Lucas smiled lightly, she was stumbling through a recovery. There was something going on, but he didn't dare ask his suspicion because that would be way bad if he asked and she found out about the supernatural because he thought that she might be apart of it. He was about to respond to her statement when he saw a demon flame in out of the corner of his eye.
He felt his jaw drop as magic was about to be exposed. But the funny thing was that it looked at Felicity without doing anything, but when it saw Lucas it immediately got a fireball in it's hand. Without thinking Lucas threw a hand out towards the demon. "Hell is spun, Demon creature of death, Fire shall take your very breath." The demon exploded into flames and let out a scream. Lucas turned back to Felicity with his hand over his mouth, he couldn't believe that he just exposed magic in front of her.

's eyes widened when the demon flamed it. She saw the demon look at her and not do anything and she froze. Why wasn't it doing anything. But then the demon looked at Lucas and a fireballs appeared in it's hand. Felicity hadn't wanted to expose magic but it wasn't worth letting Lucas die. She was about to rush up too and fight it hoping that should concetrate enough to turn invisible but then Lucas put his hand up and said a spell to vanquish it. Felicity's eyes widened at Lucas and she saw him look at her with his hand over his mouth as if she didn't know about magic. "Oh god," whispered Felicity in dispair. "Not you too." Felicity ran a hand through her hair and immediatly decided he was good since he had vanquished the demon. She shook her hair widly and said, "You shouldn't be around me, you really shouldn't."

Lucas stood completely frozen with his hand covering his mouth, watching Felicity's reaction. When she finally spoke, his hand fell to his side and his jaw dropped. She said him too. That means she knew about magic, not only knew about it, his suspicion was right, she was apart of it. "You mean... your magic too?" He asked lightly.
Then he heard the other part about him not wanting to be around her, he shook his head lightly. "It seems as if you could use some help." He quickly realized how it sounded and decided to rephrase it. "I'm sure that you can handle them yourself, though I know nothing about you. But I have people like this after me all the time." He realized that he was rambling on and it didn't make too much sense anymore. He really wondered what type of being she was. He was very rare, which is why so many people were after him.

Felicity gave Lucas an exhasperated look when he asked her if she was magic too. She didn't think it was even worth answering so she didn't she just rolled her eyes. His next comment bugged her. Even if he tried to correct. She shook her head and with a bitter laugh said, "As if you could help me! Don't worry I'll be fine, I've handled myself for years now, just now it's with powers. You'll just have to make do with yourself." Felicity knew she was being horribly cruel but she was still under the impression that he was good and she didn't think he'd really wanted to help her when he found that out. So she quickly decided to make it clear. "Oh, and yeah I grew up in the Underworld, still wanna help me?" asked Felicity riasing an eyebrow at him. She crossed her arms as she waited for her answer.

Lucas was taken aback at how rude she was being to him. He had only tried to be kind and help her. Though he knew that he may have made it sound like she needed help, he immediately tried to fix his mistake but apparently that was not good enough for her. He was still hooked on her being rude to him when she mentioned that she was from the Underworld.
He almost said something but then noticed that that was exactly what she wanted him to do. She thought that by telling him she was raised in the Underworld, so he didn't react like that. But instead he decided that he would try and surprise her a little bit. He held out his left hand, and immediately a fireball appeared in it. The fireball was overly large and had those little wooden looking circles spiraling around the fire.

When Felicity didn't received an answer right away her eyes stopped a second over his and she could tell he was insulted. She looked away now feeling a bit guilty although she didn't show it. In her mind it was for the best that he didn't try to help her or whatever.
The next thing he did however surprised her. He held out his left hand and a fireball appeared. Noticing the size of it and the little wooden pieces her shoulders tensed. For a second she thought maybe he was going to throw it at her for being rude but then realized that was ridiculous. She wasn't much of a kill anyways, as far as she knew she had weak powers.
At that moment she erased her face of any emotion. Her next words weren't rude they were bland, quiet, but most of all emotionless, "Ok, what the hell? Demons are trying to kill you when you're a demon yourself? Maybe you should explain it because I'm not getting it."
Then for a second it occured to her that maybe he was like her. Caught between both sides with the powers of both sides as well.

Lucas closed his hand over the fireball and it kept shrinking until his hand was closed and there was no fireball left inside. He could tell that for a moment she was surpised, even if it didn't outwardly show. He surprisingly was somewhat please with her reaction in the word way. She wasn't overly rude about it, but was showed most through her voice was curiousity. She hadn't really said anything much about herself, but he could tell that she was different; much like himself.
"I'm not only a demon. As you should be able to tell because I said a spell earlier. But your not either, are you?" Lucas had always been fairly good at understanding people without them actually having to say anything, it was just a gift of his.

Felicity's eyes glanced at his hand as he closed it over the fire balls. That had been one of her preferred powers when she was a child no matter how common it was. But Lucas had it. She was a bit jealous, as she was to mortal people who had the luck of having no powers at all but she decided not to dwell on that too long.
Felicity smiled when Lucas guessed she wasn't only a demon. It was a somewhat pleased smile that he could guess that about her and a somewhat sad smile at being stuck in the middle.
"Half, actually, though I don't know how you could guess seeing as you haven't seen my powers," said Felicity with a small smirk knowing that he could already guess she was empath.
Felicity looked down at her feet again but this time to concetrate on turning invisible and being able to see when she did. After a small amount of concetration she was able to turn invisible. Felicity looked up to wait for his reaction a small laugh letting out of her lips as she wondered if he'd be shocked. She knew she'd turn invisible in a minute or two either ways, it never worked right when she wanted it to.
