Iris sent a hard look over to Axelia, narrowing her eyes and before thinking about what she was doing, took Kyra's hand a split second after Axelia, also glancing up to see her looking up as well.

Kyra closed her eyes as she concentrated, blocking out their voices. Kyra was more like everyone's walking talking yellow pages. Almost as soon as they touched her hands she saw the visions of their past, their parents. What happened when they were born and more importantly why they were separated, Everything that they should have been told about sooner. Kyra let go of their hands knowing they had seen everything too. She didn't know how they would react but she knew that Axelia wouldn't be happy about it.

The first thing Axelia saw startle her. She hadn't seen her mother in ages but now she realized that apart from her eyes she looked almost exactly like her. She was angry. She was arguing with her father about...the twins? Her mother wanted to keep the other one but her father didn't. After a while flames grew around her mother; she wasn't mortal. Finally she saw her dad go over and pick her up. Looking into her eyes he said that that was the one to keep, that one would be Queen of the Underworld. When she got back from seeing everything she let go of Kyra's hand and started pacing back and forth. She was half firestarter and afraid of fire, how lame was that? Was that the kind of Queen the Underworld wanted. She looked back at Kyra and snapped, "How long have you known?"

Iris saw it too. She had her father's hair, thick and dead straight. But her mother's eyes- they were hers. She smiled without even knowing it. They were arguing. Her parents. Her father wanted to keep only one, because only one would become the Queen. The one with silver eyes. Her mother wanted to keep her though, that was a good thing right? Once out of the vision she looked from Axelia to Kyra and knew Axelia would start with a string of questions. But she didn't let go of Kyra's hand yet. She wanted to know more. "How did our parents die?" she asked in a slightly shaky voice. She had never bothered to ask. She just assumed that since they were demons, demons had to be vanquished sometime. Demons killed eachother sometimes.

"See I knew I was going to get yelled at." Kyra said wrinkling her nose. She knew Iris was going to ask that question but she had hoped that for once she was going to be wrong. "Oh don't make show you that vision... I don't like seeing that one." Kyra had seen it once already she didn't want to see it again.

"Dad killed mom, dad got killed by a firestarter," muttered Axelia not knowing why she was humoring that question. She knew it all. Dad had told her the story of how mom didn't want him to take Axelia to the Underworld, that argument ended as soon as he killed her. And her dad? Well news was flying about it in the Underworld. She didn't understand why some people thought it was ironic but now she did. Axelia couldn't tell herself but the attic was starting to get warmer. Her eyes snapped over to Kyra and she repeated her question, "How long have you known?"
