Monica spent quiet a bit at the Halliwell home, and to this, the friendly witches let her finally see their sacred possesion - the Book of Shadows. Monica read the spells and pages carefully, all the information racing around in her head. So many demons, so many answers to her questions was written inside this masterpiece. The room was cold and Mon curled up on the small sofa by the window. She wondered what her mother would say to this. To all these potions - ones that witches back in Spain never heard of.

Melinda came into the attic. She froze when she saw someone near the book of shadows. She was unsure as she didn't know her so she could be a demon for all Melinda knew. She panicked and raised her hands causing her to freeze the lamp next to her. She turned it to ice literally. "That was not meant to happen!.... Who are you and next time i won't miss!"

Monica glanced up and raised an eyebrow. She chuckled as the lamp froze. "Not a nice way to welcome guests," she said under her breath. "I'm Monica, your mother's and aunt's friend. I came from Spain for help with all the evil - they let me come up here and have look at your book," Monica said standing up.

"Well I didn't mean to freeze the lamp... I might be 16 but I'm not stupid." She folded her arms. Melinda was alittle unsure, Because they never let anyone near the book of shadows. "Well we've done very well with all the evil on our own." Melinda was just as stubborn as her mother and aunt Paige, proberly even worse.

Monica glared up,"Darling, I know much more potions and spells than you all do. All I need is the demon's faces and descriptions,"

Leo needed to ask the sisters something, so he orbed into the attic. They were almost always there, but instead someone else was. He saw Monica and Melinda there, and Monica by the book. "What the hell are you doing?" he said to Monica. Why was she near the book? He knew that the sisters would never leave her alone with it without at least one of them with her.

"Apple doesn't fall far from forbidden tree, does it?" Monica smiled and put the book down, closing it. "For your information, the sisters let me look at these demons. Like this one right here killed my thirteen year old sister," Monica, felt a tear in her eyes but rubbed it off, pretending it was never there. She hated anyone seeing her anything but emotional.
