Artemis sat walked up to the attic. She grabbed the Book of Shadows and sat down in a chair. She hated not telling everyone what she, Chase, and Melinda had done. All Arte wants is to fix the mistake before her mother finds out. She flipped through the book doing some research on the Source, Zankou, and Cole. She was reading the page on Belthazor/Cole when the door swung open.

"Paige I think I have some information on the-" Piper began but stopped when she saw the Attic door closed. Opening it she saw Artemis sitting in the old love seat with the book in her lap. What surprised her most however was the page it was opened too- the Belthazor page, which had Cole added to it by Phoebe. "Water Demon," she finished to no one in paticular, as page might not even have been around. "Artemis?" she asked, looking at the page.

She had been looking at the picutres of Cole and her mother. Startled Artemis looked up. "Oh, Aunt Piper." She saw her looking at the page, Arte snap the book shut. "Uh... what's up? Do you need the book?"

Aphrodite went into the attic. "What's going on. What are you doing up here sis?" She walked over to the book and looked at it. "What are you looking for."

Aphrodite walks in.. "Nothing is going on. I was just sking Aunt Piper if she needed the book." She set the book on the seat next to her. "I uh... I wasn't looking for anything. I was just bored and was just flipping through it."

Piper stood in the doorway watching as Artemis snapped the book shut. She felt a bit suspicious at Artemis's behaviour but what set her off was the particular page she was reading. "No I don't need the book I was just..."
She stopped when Aphrodite pushed past her to get into the attic. "Hey!" she exclaimed. She then looked at the book, and back at Arte. "Uh huh," she said sceptically. "You know when it comes to that book Phoebe, Paige and I are all involved," she told her with a slightly noticeable warning edge to her voice.
(OOC: Aphrodite had to push past her as she was still in the doorway.  )

"Come on think of something." Arte thought. She gave Piper an innocent look knowing her aunt was suspicious. She looked from Aphrodite to Piper. Arte stood up. "Well I'll just be leaving, since Aph obviously needs the book." she said not thinking of anything better to say. She started walking towards the door figuring Piper would stop her.

Piper gave her a half-smile when she tried the innocent look. "Ok that's it, once the innocent look comes out something is defintely wrong," she proclaimed and held out her hand to stop Arte from leaving. "What are you hiding missy?" she asked with a penetrating stare that always made Melinda squirm.

She stepped back as Piper held her hand out. "Ok fine." she said not being able to stand the look Piper was giving her. "Well uh. Earlier today I ran into a demon. So I was just seeing if he was in the Book of Shadows. I wanted to handle it on my own for once, everyone is always freaking out when I run into a demon."

"Really? Then why is it you were one the page with Cole in it?" she asked quietly. Piper was never a big fan of Cole, and lost belief that there were such things as coincedences.

Arte thought she was doing pretty good so far. "While I was flipping the pages it just caught my eye. The pictures with mom and Cole together, it wierd seeing her with someone else."

Arte's story was believable, but Piper was perturbed by something. Why was Arte looking at the Belthazar page on the right and not on the left by the Cole page? Still, she was hanging onto loose thread and there was no reason for her to be suspicious. Waving it off she said, "Oh, well ok then but where are you going now?"

"Um, I dunno." she shrugged. "To go find something to do. Maybe go to the beach or the park." Arte looked at her aunt and sister. "You've got nothing to worry about."

"Alright, go then," said Piper moving away from the door. She still knew something was up though. Her sixth sense was acting up again. But then again Piper was always rather daft at these things so she didn't want to wrongfully accuse any of them.
Besides, she had lied herself. She really came up to the attic to search up the Water Demon. The one that killed her Mom. She was almost positive it was back. She went over to the book and picked it up.

"Thanks Aunt Piper. Love ya." Arte stepped out of the attic, turning slightly to see her aunt picking up the book. She wondered what Piper was looking for. Arte went down stairs and left the manor.
