Rory was one demon that could never be found on one place. She was always out and about doing hell knows what, searching for something, creeping through the worlds that didn't welcome her. But for today work was done. It was around 9 pm in the evening and Rory was far mor intrested in dancing at some club, even if she was all alone. Only at night did Rory pretened to be the mortal she wasn't just to live the life an ordinary girl and not one of sinful demon.
The night was warm and clear but not suprising for San Fransisco which was blessed with good weather at this time of the year, spring. Dressed in all black as usual, Rory wore a short skirt which showed a her thin thighs, a shirt and ofcourse some decent high heels. Rory rarely let her hair fall round her shoulders but when she did it reached her waist, twirling at the ends. Rory's hair was dark auburn with random blond highlights pacing through her head. Ofcourse she was never short of accessories, 5 pairs of earings on each of her ears, bracelets, a pendant round her neck, rings gracing her fingers. Make-up was also an improtant apect of her outfit - black, long nails, eyelinered eyes. Overall Rory looked like a girl with no innocence in herself.
The nightclub she often went to 'Smoking Snake' had the most ridiculous name but the best vodka in town. They'd mix it for you with every juice so you coulf forget all your problems as you devour it. Climbing on a chair, Rory crossed her long legs and ordered a cosmo for a 'starter'.

Chris had been checking the book a lot lately and scrying for a long time to try and find a certain demon that he was after. It was the same demon he was trying to vanquish that day in the Underworld when his aunt and the evil Charmed One's showed up. But now he was on a mission, and he had to kill that damned demon. He finally found him, and thought it was odd that he would be at a night club, but was ready for the kill nonetheless. He convinced his mom into coming with him only to freeze the place, and then he would orb her back.
So Chris held tightly onto his mother's arm, and orbed both of them into the club. Piper quickly froze everyone, and then with a wave of his hand, Chris orbed her back to the manor. Now everyone was frozen except for the demons he was looking for. What he didn't expect was that two people in the room didn't freeze. He watched the demon that he was after, but then his gaze moved to another lady sitting on the bar stool, still drinking. He couldn't tell who she was from the back, so he wondered what she was.

Rory felt something pass through her trying to paralyse her but thought it was the alchohol slowly effecting her. Though when she noticed the silence her heart began to raise faster than a minute ago. She slipped off her chair slowly spinning round to face the intrueder. It was the Halliwell lad. ''We meet again...''she said before having a fireball thrown her way. The demon didn't recognize her so he propably thought she was some witch or other magical being and through his fireball at who he thought was the weakest. She managed to bend out of the way but when she straightened up again the demon was in deep crap. She threw the strongest voltage ball she could straight to him.

Chris let out a deep groan when Rory Zenith slid off of her barstool position and turned to face him. Great, an evil Charmed One, he really couldn't stand them. Chris let out a small chuckle when the demon threw a fire ball at her, oh boy was that demon in trouble now. But when she threw a voltage ball at him his smile quickly turned into a frown. He stuck out his hand towards the ball and it orbed into his hand.
The demon let out a sigh of relief that Chris had just saved it's life. Chris turned to the demon and shook his head. He flicked his hand towards the demon and the voltage ball flew over and hit him square in the chest and he burst into nothing. He turned to Rory with a frown on his face. "That's my demon."

Rory's jaw almost drop at Chris' rudness. She stood still for a moment as the demon died. ''And my voltage ball!''she hissed walking over to the Halliwell boy. ''And since when did demons become yours? Last time I checked they worshipped me and my sisters. Apart from this bastard who doesn't seem to know what he's doing.''she added.
What was to happen now? Was the witch going to start a whole new battle thing or would they merrily go their ways? Whatever it was Rory was always prepared for battle.

Chris smirked at Rory's surprised look at what he did. His smirk slowly faded and his head began to sway back and forth when she started commenting about demons not being his and they really just worshipped her. "Obviously, you just contradicted yourself. That demon didn't even know who you were. So you really don't control the whole Underworld ya' know. Ever heard of the Source? Technically, he does." One of Chris' favorite things to do was mess with demons heads.

''Oh scared of the little Source? The sad man who fell inlove with your aunt? The real source of evil would never fall that low.'' Rory frowned. She turned her back at him and grabbed her drink. Jumping up on one of the tables she lit a cigarette. Smoking wasn't really something demons did but Rory considered herself much higher than them all and certainly not just a demon.

Chris couldn't stand how completely obnoxious Rory was. He held out his hand and the cigarette orbed into his hand. He dropped it onto the ground and squished it with his foot. "Smoking kills you know." He smirked lightly, looking back up to her. "Though that may be an improvement." He chuckled lightly at his own joke, completely ignoring the part about the Source because he would rather not get into that with someone who knows nothing about what really happened.

Rory lit another one ignoring him,''See one postive thing about me then.'' she chuckled,'You should try this Chris maybe you won't be such a pain 24 hours a day.'' Rory didn't bother adding more. Chris was going to definatly find something else to b!tch about as he didn't really seem as the type of person who would just walk away. Rory in haled the smoke of the new cigarette deeply her eyes scanning the room around her. ''I wonder what their reaction would be if they saw any of us.'' she said, actually to herself but loud enough for Chris to hear.

Chris decided not to respond to either of her first two comments. Smoking, though a mortal thing, he had strong feelings against. Who would want to inhale smoke into their lungs so that it turns them black and they eventually get emphysema, lung cancer, or many other things, ending in death. In his opinion there were much more heroic ways of dying, and that was his plan. If he had to die, it would be a good reason to die, like saving someone's life, not just dying of a mortal problem like smoking.
Chris was slightly confused about what her comment meant. "What do you mean if they saw any of us?" They had all seen magic people before, they look just like normal people, they just hadn't actually seen them preform magic.

''Well us in action. Demons throwing fire balls, witches writing spells.'' Rory explained to Chris,''They think we're just from movies, books... they would never suspect we're true even the ones that say they beleive in magic have no idea what it actually is.'' Rory was no ordinary evil creature. She was educated, smart and knew something about the world. The cigarette tasted bad atleast when Chris was glaring at it with such disgust. Before finishing it she put it off in the ashtray. Happy now...? she wanted to say but didn't.

((Ahhhh I LOVE your signature!! )) Chris nodded lightly, looking at the frozen people all around. He was glad that his mother's powers had advanced enough so that the people would stay frozen as long as they wanted them to. "Well, that's true." He sighed lightly, looking around, seeing a few people that he knew here and there. He had even been close friends with a few of them. "I guess that people just always think of us as normal, I mean, they don't have a reason not too." He paused for a moment, thinking about what he just said. "Well that is except for the sudden leaving really, really fast, and having to leave all the time. That kind of stuff." He couldn't believe that he was actually having an intelligent conversation with a demon, not just a demon, one of the Evil Charmed One's.

Rory nodded along for a moment forgetting that they were enemies who were supposed to be fighting like cat and dog right now. Instead the demon run her fingers through her hair slicking them back and retaurned her look to Chris. '' Yeah unless one of the female demons throws on a lyrcra suit which she runs around in.'' Atleast the Evil Charmed ones had a sense of style.

Chris looked over at Rory when she said that, and stared blankly for a moment then just shook his head lightly. He chose not to respond to that because it was kind of ridiculus. Instead he just turned his gaze to looking around at the crowd again and just kept looking to see if anything was unfreezing, or just to see who all was there, noticing a familiar face every now and then.

- so sorry I'm late! -
Rory watched Chris ignore her also siting quietly before the whole silent thing really got on her nerves,''We are supposed to be enemies, Chris... yet we are having an intelligent conversation in here instead.'' she said.
