History ::
Calliope was born to Xavier Latano and Mary-Anne Harrington on the 5th July. Her parents were in their final year of High School when she was concieved and she was born shortly after their graduation.
Calliope's father's side of the family was always in constant war and her father was constantly away, as her grandfather who was the original leader died before she was born. Her mother was always a person who had a terrible temper and many thought that Calliope would inherit this as well but fortunately she didn't completely inherit it.
When she was 5 years old her Grandmother Diego died and it was a sad time for Calliope because Granny Diego was the one person that she looked up to and who taught her most of what she knew. A few years later her father was killed by her uncle and she was left being taught by her mother who taught her her racist ways though Calliope began to develop her own beliefs and while she loved her mother didn't believe anything that she said.
In her final year she graduated from High School with high reccomendations because she had been one of the top students. Following that Calliope, much to the disappointment of her mother, undertook some further study and then went to university to gain a degree in journalism. Only last year her mother died and her dying wish was that Calliope take on what she wished her to do though she did not she forged her own path which is what her father would have liked her to do. Her middle name was derived from her father's sister Richaela and her first name one that her mother had always admired, considering it was her mother's aunts name.
Personality ::
Calliope is a very interesting person. She is calm and relates to collegues on some levels that others would not. She is one of the youngest in the group she works with. She is light hearted and she is very approachable, able to be spoken to about anything and she will always listen and not repeat information unless it is going to harm her collegues in which time she mentions it to a superior.
Calliope's eyes vary in their shade of blue slightly to match her mood and when she is angry she is not a person to be crossed. When Calliope is angry she is very nasty and can come across as someone completely different to who she is seen as. It is like she has a split personality one side which is calm and the other which has a nasty temper.
Current Events ::
Calliope and her older brother Illias are currently in war with their halfbrother Deo. He was the offspring of their mother and an upper-level demon and Calliope and Illias are rather unsure of exactly what power he holds because he has only recently shown them his true colours. His father has sent him to destroy his half-siblings and Callie and Illias are ready to put up a fight no matter what.
Callie is having trouble at work because some force, presumably her brother, has been tampering her reports and, as a result, they are not being published which puts a lot of strain on her personal and professional life and is destroying her from within. She is aided by her brother who helps her out and now it is a two-on-one battle, until Deo employs the assistance of his fiance Athena.
Anything Else ::
Nothing other than the fact I would actually like Illias, Deo and Athena played on the site if you don't mind me posting for them to be played ;D
Appearance-
Liani has mid-length blonde hair and smokey-blue eyes. She is not very tall, only about 5'6" and can often be found in jeans and some interesting shirts, blouses and tank tops. Her hair is often tied back when she is teaching though it is let down on weekends. She never wears make-up because she prefers the natural look. She has soft skin which is pale but not to the point that she looks like she has not gone outside in years.
Her eyes always show how caring she is and her smile is warm and caring. Everything about her makes her look understanding and approachable. She has a black, fake-fur trimmed jacket that she wears when it is cold enough to and this is the one jacket that students have learned to associate her with because she has it on so often no matter what she is doing.
Hair :: blonde
Eyes :: smokey blue
Complexion :: pale but not white
Any Specific Magical Features? :: only a small tattoo, which her brother has as well, of a pentagram around her ankle (it is like a tattooed anklet with a pentagram pendant) which allows her to determine when her siblings are close.
Anything More? ::
Picture ::
Role Playing Example (At least two paragraphs please.) ::
(this is the second post from another site, it best shows my potential given my current museless state)
Pansy's whole body froze as she realised that there was, in fact, someone else in the room with her. It seemed that she had stopped breathing and even thinking, trying to make sure that it was not one of the heads catching her out of bed in the early mornings. It wasn't til she heard a familiar voice coming from the shadows that she calmed and felt as though she could finally breath again.
“No need to be frightened, it’s only me. You’re lucky you know…”
Pansy sighed with relief and closed the door behind her with a small click before turning to Draco "I wasn't frightened" Pansy said defiantly, in truth she had been terrified of being caught out of bed in the early hours of the morning or of being found by a Professor but she was not sure that she should admit it, after all the Draco she use to know was one who thought that fear was weakness but then again he had changed since they had returned for seventh year, even if it was only slightly.
“Could have been one of those filthy mudblood heads.”
"I am rather sure that Granger and whoever else is head with her wouldn't make their way into these dungeons at this time of morning, I was hoping to find some stray first year Gryffindork but no luck" Pansy replied, it was only half heartedly though, in truth she was more worried about where she stood with Draco these days but she wasn't going to ask him, she wasn't sure he would even want to answer, or that she would like the answer.
She gave a sigh and moved over to one of the desks that were pushed against the walls and sat down "So...what brings you down here?" she asked, trying to start some small talk and not admit that she was feeling rather awkward at the moment. Pansy let her eyes run over the dark walls, she wasn't entirely sure what she expected to see, it was almost pitch black so there was no way of anything being distinguishable from the next thing.
She closed her eyes for a moment as she waited for Draco to reply It never use to be this weird for me she thought to herself, or maybe it did but she just didn't realise it before because she was so busy swooning over Draco, obeying everything he said, doing anything he wanted.
