Every true love story has it's ups, and downs. It's end, middle and beginning, and this is where ours is.
Voldemort may be gaining power, but no body really cares. There may have been one or two deaths of people who have no friends or family, just a lot of money, but the Ministry have a lot of more important things to deal with. As have the students of Hogwarts.
Lily, James, we all know the story. He's in love with her, but imagine adding someone else into the equation. Someone else like, Frank Longbottom! He's been in love with her since first year, but he hasn't been as bold about it as James has. Now, Lily's got to choose. The egotistical git, or the nice one? Choice is easy really, Lily and Frank are now an item,
Meanwhile, Remus has met someone he really likes. A Gryffindor 6th Year girl by the name of Isabel Scott. She's smart, kind of quiet, pretty, everything Remus loves in a girl. They hooked up over the summer and Remus couldn't wait until to introduce her to his friends! That was the first mistake. Isabel is immediately attracted to both James and Sirius, and it's obvious to everyone, except Peter.
Meanwhile, Peter's having a little bet with Sirius. Peter bet 50 galleons that he can "pull," Bridget Daltrey by the end of October. Mistake number two. Anyone who met Bridget Daltrey would realise that this is an impossible task. She has a reputation of being a little bit of a slut but she would never sleep with Peter Pettigrew! So what does he do? He get's Rosa Willow, Bridget's step-sister, to nick of with her underwear. But of course, she steals the wrong pair.
Meanwhile, Isabel is doing everything she can to get Sirius and James and like her. She's even trying out for the Quidditch team. With her lack of Quidditch skills, and with the match between Gryffindor and Slytherin coming up, we have mistake number three.
Underneath a slow rise in deaths, and a very fast rise in the teenage drama, underneath it all, there has to be a Silver Lining.
