Phoebe knew Piper could only imagine what poor Melody had been through, but the hard part about it was that Phoebe had seen it. She felt the need to protect poor Melody from seeing anything like that ever again. "I know...i do to...poor Melody," said Phoebe. Phoebe felt as if Melody was one of her own children, though she wasn't. She had a feeling Melody was going to be an important person in the Halliwell's lives.

Piper smiled sadly, "She doesn't deserve what she's been though. I just hope we can make some difference in her life." She said glancing at her sister.

"We can...and we will," said Phoebe looking at the staircase where Melody had just gone up. Phoebe just hoped that the demons wouldn't notice the bond...or they'll take advantage of it, and Phoebe didn't want anything to happen to Melody. "We have to be careful though."

"I know." Piper said seriously. "If anything happens to that girl, I won't be able to forgive myself." Demons had taken advantage of their bond between innocents before but as long as they didn't know that Melody was close to them - she should be okay but secrets never did stay secret for long.

"Me neither...but I don't think any demons in particular are keeping a watch on us right now, so it doesn't matter really," she said, not knowing that the Charmed ones along with Zane was keeping a close eye on them. "But then we still have to be careful..."

Melody finshied drying her hair and pulled it back in a bobble. Well Piper had been right when she said that her and Melinda were about the same size. She smiled weakly to herself, she wanted to make it up to them for what they were doing for her. She just didn't know how yet.
She came down the stairs, seeing Piper and Phoebe talking, she didn't hear what they were saying but she had a feeling it was about her. "I really am grateful for everything your doing for me."

Phoebe looked up as she heard Melody's voice. "It' our pleasure sweetie," she said with a warm smile. She looked at Melinda's clothes on Melody- Piper was right, it did fit her. She wondered if Melody had over heard anything they were saying...she didn't want her to think she was in danger around the Charmed ones- She wanted her to feel protected.

Piper smiled, "Don't mention it, it actually feels good to be appreciated again." She pushed some of her hair behind her ear. Piper liked to help and with Wyatt and Chris grown-up and taking her help as just interfering - it felt good that someone wanted her help and was thankful for it.

Melody smiled, she wasn't used to people caring about her, well not since her mom died anyway. She had got used to people either wanting to kill her or just been nice because they wanted a favor, her rage power was very popular among demons. "Well if theres anything I can do to help you guys... I'd do it."

Phoebe glanced at Piper when she said it felt good to be appreciated again. She looked back at Melody and could tell she appreciated their care. "Well...there's nothing magical we'll let you help with." There was no way Phoebe would ever want to agree to anything that would put Melody in danger.

"I can help.... I'm not as helpless as I look." She could tell that they were only looking out for her safety. "Okay so I do tend to get myself in more trouble than anyone else but thats not my fault most demons hate me." but that was because she choose good over evil.

Piper agreed "I know you want to help hunny, really I do.... But we wouldn't want to put you in any danger." At the moment, Melody was very venerable. Piper knew that and she didn't want to put her though anything else. She looked at Meoldy when phoebe asked her what powers she had - she was curious.

"Energy Balls, Telekinetic Beam and Rage Oppression." She only used her Rage Oppression when she needed to, She hated using that power. but she had to admit it did come in handy when she needed it.

Phoebe listened to the powers and glanced over at Piper when she heard rage oppression. Even more a reason to try and keep Melody in the manor as much as possible- that was a rare power and the sisters only ever came across one demon who was lucky enough to be gifted with it before- and came across meaning been attacked. "Can you control them?" she asked.
