Melody was sat on the couch in the conservatory. She was looking out the window, not looking at anything in particular - she was bored. Piper and Phoebe had gone up to the attic looking for some demon, but Melody hadn't paid much attention. She didn't want to cause them any problems - after all they treated her like a daughter, and she saw them as mother figures. It was comforting.
Her chocolate brown eyes looked round, the manor was always busy but today it seemed quiet. She sighed as she flicked though the magazine that she had on her lap. "What to do... what to do?" She muttered to herself.

Both of the sisters went on upstairs. There's no doubt they will stay busy with two of the Zenith sisters up there to preoccupy them. MEanwhile, the other Sister was up in Magic School no doubt. If anything, she would go and help the others. Perfect.
Zane Flamed in the Halliwell Manor and spotted the target at hand: the girl, Melody. The young boy Henry was nowhere around the Manor....... for a probable Whitelighter, he was doing a "super" job. Zane hoped the sisters got that Non-Sensing Spell in effect. He walked over to the doorway and hid around the corner to avoid being seen. He waited patiently until she stoofd up or looked vulnerable.

She glanced up when she heard a noise, but she shook her head - it was an old house and after all, All houses made noises. And with the amount of demons that had been vanquished there, Melody knew it was something to be expected. She put the magazine down, it was nothing interesting and she must have read it about 6 times already. She got a funny feeling that someone was watching her, but that was impossible. She, as far as she knew, was the only one downstairs. Piper and Phoebe was in the attic and everyone else was out. She fiddled with her hair slightly.

Zane waited behind that corner..... but the girl refused to succumb to the noise in the next room. Guess it was time to step it up a notch. Time was not a thing to waste at this point.
He lit a fireball in the palm of his hand and threw it at a nearby vase. What else could he do? He threw it at the vase and it shattered.

She jumped when the vase shattered, she had seen the fireball. No mistaking it. Couldn't she go one day without a demon attacking her? She only resorted to her powers of she had to but now she was doing it out of instint. An energy ball appeared in her hand, She wasn't confident but she tryed to keep confidence in her voice. "Don't you have the guts to come out of hiding?" She asked in a slightly harsh voice, though if she knew who she was talking to she may have been less harsh as Zane's powers were stronger and more dangerous than hers.

"Don't you have the guts to show me you can protect yourself without the Charmed Ones with you...... or that annoying little "boyfriend" of yours?"

(Could think of something harsh to say back but Lily's not like that.)
"That the best you got? because for a demon thats lame." She still didn't know who she was talking to, If she knew it was Zane she would have proberly kept her mouth shut. She had never met him but she had heard about him from other demons. "I don't need someone to protect me." She threw the energy ball at where the voice was coming from. She had chosen to ignore his comment about Henry.

"Really...." Zane smiled as he actually caught the Energy ball the girl threw as it got smaller and smaller until it disappeared right in his palm.
"From what I see......... your "boyfrind" always come to your rescue...... you can barely even summon the courage to Vanquish another demon without help...."
Zane's hand was still up from catching the ball. He looked at his palm and then back at Melody; his palm still up.
"Is that all.... .you got?"

"Uh oh..." She muttered to herself, She knew who he was, his reputation procedded him and she knew for a fact that she was no match for him, not on her own anyway. 'Come on Henry, anytime to show up would be great about now' She thought to herself but of course, Henry wouldn't be able to sense her or hear her calls because of the spell that the evil charmed ones had cast. "What do you want from me?" She asked coldly.

She took a few steps back as he came closer to her, So he was a hell of alot more powerful than her but there wasn't a chance that she was going to go anywhere with him... not willingly at least. "Go to hell, I'm not going anywhere." She said trying to keep the fear from her voice, the truth was she was scared - Zane could pretty much kill her without even trying.

Zane took a few seconds to react after the girl's reply. As she stepped bck a bit, and Zane's hand was still in the same position as it was before, an energy ball quickly formed and was thrown at the girl. It struck at her feet on the floor.

She jumped back as the energy ball hit the floor, barely inches away from her feet. She really didn't want to go with him and she could see that she didn't have much choice in the matter but she wasn't going to just give up. Melody could be very stubborn when she wanted to be.

Zane's hand was still up from the recent Energy ball he threw at the girl's feet. This time a Fireball appeared in his hand and he threw it; this time aiming right for the girl. At that point, he Flamed out from his spot.

She ducked when he thre the fireball at herm but only just ducked in time. She saw him flame out, she stood up slowly - she knew it wasn't over he wouldn't just give up like that. "Henry!.... Piper!..." she shouted hoping someone would hear her - however she didn't know that the spell that had been put on the consevatory would block anyone from hearing her and stop henry from sensing her.
(ooc: sorry my posts are alittle off)
