Phoebe walked up the steps of the attic, the heels of her shoes making a dull clanking sound. Outside the rain was pounding viciously on the roof and windows of the Manor. She sighed as she knelt down beside a box which didn't have anything marked on it, so no one else would know what was in it unless they opened it- that was unlikely as there were so many boxes in the attic.
Her hair which was loose fell over her shoulders as she bent her head to look down at it. "Why did I even keep this?" she muttered to herself, as opened it and took out the item from the top. It was a picture of Phoebe on the day she married Cole- Of course it didn't turned out as planned but they did get married. She sighed hugged the piccture to her.

Piper walked into the attic looking a little worse for wear. She felt terrible, she hadn't slept at all. She hadn't taken the news of leo becoming an elder very well - but at least this time he hadn't taken away her feelings even if it really hurt. She would rather feel the good and the bad things than not feel anything at all. But no matter how bad she felt she still had a job to do, she still had innocents to protect and demons to vanquish. Her long dark hair was down and tumbled down past her shoulders and hung just above her waist.
"Hey..." She noticed what she was holding and didn't need to be an empath to know what phoebe was feeling - she just needed to be her sister. "Bringing up painful memories?" She asked even though she already knew the answer, whether piper liked it or not cole had meant alot to phoebe.

Hearing her sister's voice Phoebe looked up and saw Piper standing there. She knew Piper would recognise what she was holding- Piper had gotten it framed for Phoebe after all. She gave Piper a weak smile at the question. "I guess..." she said softly, putting the picture on the floor and tried to stop herself from looking at the next item but she couldn't help it. It was her wedding ring. She didn't know how it got in the box though because she didn't remember keeping it. Looking away she looked back up at Piper from her position on the wooden floor. "Remember our conversation with ourselves in the parallel world? I mentioned Cole was here? I was harsh with him...it hurt Piper but I didn't know if it was only him hurting..." Phoebe hated her empathy sometimes.

Piper sat next to her younger sister. "Well it might have been some of your own feelings too. Whether we like it or not we know how much Cole meant to you and feelings like that don't just go away. Even if you do try to mask them." Piper was been honest, that was all she could be with her sister - she wasn't going to lie no matter how much she hated cole... all she could do was give advice to her baby sister. "If it helps.. I know what your going though."

Phoebe took out the ring from the box as Piper sat next to her. "It's hard to mask thouse feelings...it hurts so much," she said quietly. She was glad she had sisters, who went through her with everything, and when one was busy the other was always there to help her with her pain. She looked up at Piper when she said she knew what Phoebe was going through? "How?" she asked. "Leo may be an angel now...but he's not evil."

"I know, but are we forgetting my list of failed relationships?" Piper had a habit of falling for the wrong guy until she met leo. "Remember what I went though with Leo and Dan?" Piper had been happy with Dan but all the time she was with him she had been hiding her feelings for Leo, and she had, had her fair share of falling for demons.

"I know Piper but...i don't know," she said, unsure of what to say now. Piper had been unlucky in alot of relationships- even Leo had its problems. But one thing her and Piper were different in were relationships...sure Phoebe had fallen for two cupids, but she always had a taste for Demons ...while where Piper had fallen for demons before she also fell for Dan and Leo. "It's just...different. Jeremy tried to kill us but he was just a warlock...he...well you fell for him but.." Phoebe wasn't going to complete the sentence. Piper had fallen for demons, but they never fell for her...she couldn't say that though.

"But he didn't love me back." She finished the sentence for her. Piper knew that Jeremy had just been using her. "Life has always been complicated for us Phoebe, Since when has it been simple for us?" Piper was beginning to think that there wasn't such thing as a normal life anymore.

"He was using you...but Cole really loved me and I know he still does," she said. "Since...before grams died," she replied, even though she knew it wasn't really a question. After grams died there was conflict between Prue and Phoebe, then Phoebe moved, and then when she moved back in she found the Book of Shadows and from them...well life was just a whirl of confused from then on.
