Away...

[Henry Halliwell-Mitchell]

Leo kept telling Henry if there was ever a place he just wanted to just relax and not worry about anything.... or simply to gather thoughts, then at the top of the Golden Gate Bridge was the place for him. The only problem was that Henry was never able to Orb at the top. He'd make it on the Bridge itself which was pretty hazardous, sometimes on the ropes which was pretty scary too and mostly right in the water!

It never worked out for him until he just felt like being by himself and sharing a room with Wyatt and Chris wasn't being by himself. So, while he was checking out the Book of Shadows upstairs he just closed his eyes and pictured the top of the Bridge...... no sooner had he thought of it that he Orbed out of the attic and found himself where he wanted to be: at the top! He did it! All it took was focus and concentration..... at least more than usual.

So there Henry was.... on top of the Golden Gate Bridge... and it was quite a view and a great breeze! He sat himself by the edge and looked down.... hoping no one saw him... nor he hoped evil or an Elder would come and find him there... or tell him to be gone. He took in a deep breath and sighed.......

Summer orbed on top of the bridge, actually for once getting to the place that she was actually aiming for. Last time she tried to orb on top of the bridge she had ended up in the water and got a seriously bad cold, her father hadn't let her out of bed for a whole week. "Hey..." She sat down next to him, in the future summer could talk to Henry and always helped her when she needed it which was a lot. She had a talent for getting herself in trouble.

Henry got the weird feeling that someone Orbed on the bridge. He looked up and saw a familiar face...... or really a face-to-be.. whatever! He knew it was Summer: his friend Chris' future daughter. She was one of the ones to come back to the past and tell his aunts that there was trouble in the future.

"Hey Summer.... what brings you here?" he asked softly with his knees close to his face as his arms were wrapped around his legs.

"Its a good place to think, if you can actually orb here." She said with a small smile, they both knew that summer wasn't the best when it came to controling her powers. "Least I didn't end up in the water this time.." She glanced at him, "Whats up? I know somethings bothering you." Summer was actually a good listener when she wanted to be.

[Henry Halliwell-Mitchell]

"Well nothing is bothering me exactly... let's just say i wanted some peace of mind from demons and homework and schoolwork and family....." Henry replied as he looked around to see Summer's face and ten back at the sea view from the bridge. It was quite calming indeed.

"Families not that bad." She said looking at the city. "I would prefer to grow up in this time than my own.... least then i would know most of my family." She looked back at him, In the future there was only a few Halliwells left, Evil was winning and nearly all the sources of good magic had gone. "The demon's I could live without...." She said with a smile.

Henry thought of a cruel image of the future Summer grew up in and came from. Wasn't a pretty picture that's for sure. He looked back at her and saw the depressing expression. Supposedly, Henry was to feel good that his life was mch btter now than it would be in the future but it didn't. She barely had family there?
"Really?... aren't I there or your dad.. or my mom?" he asked her.

She looked away, she hated been the barer of bad news, and hated talking about the future held, It was hard enough living though it the first time, But thats why they came back to change it. She nodded "Your okay in the future, Aunt paige trys to teach me how to write spells...... I always were better at potions." She sighed sadly "My dad died when I was 16, Demon's are treating killing the Halliwells like a sport."

"Oh... I'm sorry......" Henry had no choice but to respond. The future wasn't for the better that's for sure. Henry realised this was made him a little more depressed and forced himself to observe the landscape and view once more. Thinking about the future still, Henry looked back at Summer.
"Well..... it's nothing to worry about now.... we just have to stop those Evil Charmed Ones and Cole from doing serious damage..."

"Its okay.... I mean we can change it right?" She said looking at him "and its not really cole we need to worry about, Its Richela, Rory and Roxanne that we need to worry about.... Oh and when Grams is in a bad mood, you better stay clear... just trust me on this one." She said with a small smile.

[Henry Halliwell-Mitchell]

"That's already a reality.." Henry joked. He looked back at Summer but couldn't stop wondering what the future was like. What happened to him? His mom..... even friends.... like Melody... "Guess I did something I shouldn't have..." he joked again.

[Summer Halliwell]

"Something like that...." She said with a smile. "Grams is under a lot of stress, she vulnerable Henry... what if demons take advantage of that?" She sighed "Sometimes I just think I am in way over my head." She put her head in her hands. "What was I thinking?.... I should have known I wouldn't be able to change everything."

[Henry Halliwell-Mitchell]

"Hey wait...."
Henry tried to get Summer to lift her head up to look at him.
"It's a good thing you were able to come to the future. If you didn't warn us, we probably won't be as cautious and careful as we are now...... we're gonna defeat the sisters....so don't feel you didn't do anything good....."
Henry did his best to get her to understand that they will find a way to handle this.

[Summer Halliwell]

She looked up "Then why does it feel like we're fighting a battle we can't win..... Everything happens for a reason.... what if this is just something I'm not meant to change." She shook her head "My brothers were right, I am a screw-up."

[Henry Halliwell-Mitchell]

"Stop that......" Henry calmly said out loud.
She was beating herself up for nothing.... and Henry couldn't let that happen any longer.
"We all fight for something Summer...... and we hardly ever believe we could win.... mostly we think we'll lose.... but if you out your heart and all your strength in something.... you can turn around events and end up winning...... sometimes we feel we can't change pretty much anything.... or we might feel useless...... but anything that you do to try and better a situation... then you did a lot more than you think you did...... so Summer.... thanks for coming here..."
And with that, Henry gave a smile to her. Now, he didn't fel very depressed at that point. And he had to thank Summer for that.
