Recently Piper had been snapping and quarreling with everyone. She had no idea what was happening to her. She had also been feeling dizzy every now and then. On her way outside through the back door, passed the basement but noticed the door was open. As she went to close the door she felt that wave of dizziness again and held onto the stairs of the basement to steady herself. It didn't work too well though as a minute later found her at the bottom of the stairs, unconscious.

Paige had been in the living room when she heard a loud thud from the basement. She went over curious to what the sound was as no one seemed to go in the basement anymore. She went to the top of the stairs and switched the light on. She gasped when she saw Piper. "Piper!" She ran down the stairs to her sister, She was burning up. "Piper? Come on hunny can you hear me." She held her hand over her and saw it glow as she heeled her. Her love for henry had triggored her power to heel so many years before.

Piper woke up but unfortunately for her, Paige apparently couldn't heal her splitting head or rather whole body ache from falling down the steps. She didn't want to get up. She opened her eyes. "What just happened?" she asked, putting a hand on her forehead and realising she was rather hot. Despite the heat she felt a chill run through her. "What did you do?" she asked, her voice slightly accusing. She was fine one moment but blacking out the next...was that normal?

"Piper you sure your okay hunny... you don't look too good." She was concerned for her sister. "I didn't do anything, your the one that fell down the stairs which by the way i'm not suprised with them heels and the temperature that your at now."

Piper pulled away from Paige and got up- well not pulled away, more like shifted away. Dusting off herself she looked up at what Paige said next. "I can wear heels if I want too." she said. She didn't know why she was acting like that, she had no reason to be grumpy.

Paige frowned why was piper acting like this? She had been snapping at everyone lately and was making Paige wonder why she even bothered. The kids could look after themselves, Phoebe was no where to be found anymore, Piper was acting strange which left Paige to be the one to hold the family together, work out what was going on and fix it all.

Piper smiled. Wait...she should care that she was putting so much work on Paige's shoulders. But she didn't. Why didn't she? Did it even matter? The curse was showing more and more effects. First she was feeling dizzy and snapping now and then, now she was blacking out and full-out accusing and pushing away her sister? She noticed what was happening, but she didn't want to stop it.

Piper's smile should have made Paige feel better but because she knew something was up it didn't. She wanted to help her sister but couldn't if she wouldn't let her. Piper was pushing her futher and futher away. She stood up, "Piper when you want my help let me know..." She couldn't handle this right now... she had a forever growing list of things to do and she was only one person she couldn't do it all herself, but Paige was stubborn there was no way she was going to ask for help.

"I don't need help from anyone," said Piper, noticing that all along she had been holding onto the stair railing. She let go of it as quickly as if it were a poisonous snake. "I'm no less powerful than you are, even if you were super-witch for the pas few years," she added in a dangerously sweet voice. She couldn't believe she was talking to her own sister like this. Shaking her head slightly she seemed to catch herself for a moment. In an apologetic tone of voice she said, "I'm sorry Paige it's just..." but she couldn't seem to find a word to decribe the bitterness she felt in her ownself. The curse took grasp again. "It's just I don't really care about you or your help that much right now."

Paige shook her head. "No one said you were less powerful." She was taken back slightly by the way Piper said that. "Its the power of three we're all equal." She sighed when she heard piper's tone change, that was the piper she knew and loved but when it suddenly changed she knew something was definatly up. She just didn't know what yet. What Piper said hurt her alot but she wasn't going to give her the satifaction of showing her that it hurt. The woman standing infront of her was not her sister. "Yeah what about Melinda.... have any idea what this is doing to her? Think about that." She said before going upstairs, she was hoping that Piper's love for her daughter would pull her out of what ever was going on with her.

Piper tried to come up with a response for that but it was hard. "Well then why do you keep trying to help me? I don't need help." She noticed the way Paige was looking at her, as if she were a stranger. Well Piper wasn't exactly acting like a sister at the moment now was she? Then Paige mentioned Melinda. She felt a flicker of emotion, but didn't show it. "Melinda's a strong girl, she can handle it," Piper said as Paige was leaving. "She's cause me alot of trouble already," she said just as Paige reached the top stair. Piper wasn't sure if she even meant it. Turning her back to her sister she played with the ring around her marriage finger. I can't do this...I can't fight this.

Paige stopped when she got to the top of the stairs. She didn't turn around, She didn't want to face piper when she was like this. "She shouldn't have to handle it." She said simply. "Doesn't matter how much trouble she's caused. She's just a teenager. Your still her mother and your still meant to be there for her no matter what." She had sensed the Paige had touched a nerve when she mentioned Melinda. Which was why Paige was pushing her luck by going on. If it went the way Paige was hoping it would help piper fight what ever was going on with her.

"Well she's a bad daughter then, teenager or no teenager," Piper replied. Piper could do all sorts of things when influenced by evil- she had even killed Leo once. "And no one's there for me when I need them most."

"Is that all this is about?" Paige said turning round. How could Piper say that no was there for her when she needed them. Paige was always there. There was only one time that Paige wasn't there and that was when she had been having problems with her powers and had been hiding out at magic school, No one was there for Paige then.

Piper was a bit surprised when Paige turned around and looked at her like that. "No, of course not!" The shock had startled a true response out of her. "It's-" she began but caught herself before she finished the sentence, and didn't continue. "It's none of your buisness what this is all about." she covered. Honestly, she didn't know and it scared her a bit. Part of her just wanted to follow whatever was happening but the other part wanted to understand first.
