Felicity broke into a run into the park. She liked running for some odd reason. It didn't help her think in the least. But it stopped the headache and it stopped the outside world. Honestly, that was good enough for her...almost. The other reason she was running was that she had to be strong. Whether she was a witch or a demon she knew there wouldn't be much longer until something came up. And then without any active powers how the hell was she supposed to fight? Without powers. That was exactly right. So she had to run. After a while she had to stop. She didn't think she could take the running much longer. Felicity sat on a bench and shook her hair out of the pony tail. She felt like crying, now. damn, I would make a crappy demon. But what if I don't have a choice. She realized everyone else had it decided. They were either good or evil not in between. But since when was Felicity normal? Felicity sighed, this was NOT going ot be easy.

Iris winded into the park, next to a tree. No one would notice- it was a windy day anyway, even if her wind was colder. She picked off a leaf from the tree and looked at it a bit sadly. Someone would think that she was crazy to look at a leaf like that. But she was crazy anyway. But that wasn't why she was looking at the leaf like that- she was just thinking. She was thinking about when she was good. She had lived a borrible life then. But the reason for that was gone now. Because of me, her htought prodded her. So why was she evil then? Because it was fun? Admittedly she didn't find killing fun like other demons did. She actually hated it. She waved her hand over the leaf and a thin layer of ice sorrounded it. Dropping it and letting it fall to the ground she absently went and sat on a bench in front of the tree, not even noticing the other girl sitting next to her.

Felicity didn't notice as a girl sat down next to her. She was lost in her own thoughts theat when she looked up and saw she let out a scream. That surprised her so much that when she looked down she could see through her feet. Felciity swore loudly and after a bit of a struggle she turned visible. She looked back at the girl. "Who the hell are you?" asked Felicity. But she made the mistake of looking in Iris's eyes and then felt her emotions stike into her. The samed confused feeling. Missing people she had left behind for something she didn't like, feeling...something like guilt almost (I hope that fits if not let me know). FElicity let out a small cry and looked away from Iris's eyes. She wasn't like regular demons. She showed weaknesses...that was almost like an actual weakness of her. The only thing she had going on for a demon that she knew of was that she could shimmer whenever she needed to and she could fight.

Iris jumped, started when she heard a scream, then someone swearing, and turned around just in time to seem some appear out of...no where. It didn't seem like teleportation so she guessed it was invisibility. Then the girl demanded who she was, but before Iris could answer Felicity had looked into her eyes before letting out a small cry. Iris felt confused. Why did she do that? Iris didn't normally show concern but something inside her made her ask. "Are you ok?"
(It fits. Guilt! That's perfect- I didn't even think of that, thanks!)

"N-no," stammered Felicity as the last of the person's emotions swam out. "Just...who are you?" said Felicity in a soft voice as she rubbed her head. She grew up with her mother tryign to teach her different "demon skills". They didn't work well. Well some did. She could be uncaring and heartless. And now she had flippin empathy powers. So what did those skills come to? Nothing. Her mother was right, she was better at being a witch. She had just never thought she was half witch. That was a detail kept out. She started to look back up but then quickly snapped her head back down, she was too used to looking people in the eye. "I have empathy pwers that work if I look someone the eye," muttered Felicity for no reason in particular.

"I'm Iris Moore," she replied. "And apparently sister to the queen of the underworld..." she muttered, not sure if the girl could hear her or not. Felicity then told her she had empathy powers. Iris was sure a Charmed one had that power. "And are you going to tell me who you are?" she added, raising an eyebrow.

"Felicity Stepcon," she muttered. She heard the girl say she was sister to the Queen of the Underworld. "Really? So you're a demon?" asked Felicity. Great so now she had talked to a guy who was half white lighter, half witch and now she was talking to a demon. Great decision maker on my part...NOT!

"Apparently," she said. "Although it pretty much destroyed my whole life," she added as an afterthought. Iris didn't identify her name. She looked over at Felicity and could tell she was thinking. "I'm Half fire-starter though," she clarified. "But never got the firepowers."

(you identified your name in another post hun)
"I'm half witch half demon. Got all the powers and wanted none," muttered Felicity. She looked up and remembering Iris's feelings she asked, "Do you even want to be a demon?" Felicity realiced she had just asked a complete stranger a question that complete stranger wouldn't usually answer. But Felicity was curious. And maybe...maybe this girl could help her. She was a demon and apparantly didn't want to be demon and Felicity was...something and wanted to be normal but was willing to take the next best choice.

((No I meant...nevermind, too confusing to explain))
Iris as about to comment on what Felicity said about her powers but was struck by the next question. She stayed silent for a long strech of time, not even sure what she should reply. "I-" she began but stopped again. Finally, she settled with, "I don't know." She directed the topic back towards Felicity. "Do you?" she shot back the question.

"No!" said Felicity but hesitated a moment. "Why would I? I'm too weak to be a demon! I dont' even have active powers. I have damn empathy powers! What am I going to do with those down in the Underworld. But being a demon is all I know how to do! I grew up in the Underworld," said Felicity. She wondered if the girl would believe her about growing up in the Underworld. She knew with her little outburst showing how emotional she was it was going to be pretty hard to believe. But what did Felicity care? Oh yeah, she was sister to the Queen of the Underworld.

"Well what are you yelling at me for?" asked Iris, before sighing. She knew anyways- Felicity wasn't really yelling at her. "Empathy is a witch power," said Iris, frowning. "So you can't be fully demon then," she added though she was more thinking to herself now. "And Empathy is a strong power. It can advance to many powerful abilities."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you," said Felicity quietly. She hadn't. She just needed someone to talk to. Maybe she had chosen the wrong person? But this person seemed as confused as she was...no she was, she could tell by looking in her eyes. "I know, I'm only half demon. And have you ever thought it's a strong power because it's hard to control? I don't want it to advance to anything, thank you," replied Felicity.

Iris smiled slightly. "No, I'm saying that because I know that," she replied. "You could yet an electricity power, or mind control or-" she paused at the look on Felicity's face. "I should stop now shouldn't I?" she asked.

"I know. Mind control, Astral Echo whatever! I know abotu all this I just don't want it," said Felciity. "This is too powerful for me to control already, watch," said Felicity. Then Felicity looked straight into her eyes. The emotions swam into her one by one and she flinched. But this time was different; this time she was able to keep eye contact. Felicity looked away after a bit and muttered, "Whatever, I just don't want the power."
