Chris was slightly taken back by these words. He really felt like he was getting through to Felicity, but then it all went downhill within seconds. He sighed lightly, he knew that Felicity was a good person, and she could do a lot on the side of good, a lot to make sure that evil was stopped. He sighed once more. "I'm sorry Felicity, but this is necessary, or so I think." He searched his memory for a second, though he had this one well memorized. And he recited the truth spell. "For those who want the truth revealed, Opened hearts and secrets unsealed, From now until its now again, After which the memory ends. Those who now are in this house, Will hear the truth from others mouths."

Felicity's eyes snapped to him as soon as he said that what he was going to do was necessary. And then soon she heard the truth spell. Her eyes wiodened and said, "What are-well no I know what you're-" Felicity said letting out a shriek of frustration. She hated that, people purposely making her tell the truth. Plus it reminded her of the mother, she always did truth spells on her to check if there was anything going out as if she had turned good in the Underworld-the land of all people. "Why the hell did you cast a truth spell on me?" Felicity asked angrily not even bothering to keep any kind of patience.

Chris smiled lightly as her temper rose, those years in the Underworld did teach her something. Though a lot of people had tempers. "Not only you. The truth spell worked on me too. But now, everyone we talk to has to tell us the truth, and we have to tell them the truth. After twenty four hours, the effects will wear off, and no one except the two of us will remember what we learned from it. This is to help you make your decision. You may not know how it will help, but trust me, it will."

Felicity glared at him as he slightly smiled. How could he take being vulnerable to any question so easily? "So you don't care, at all? I could ask you any question and you'll have to answer it, how could you possibly not care?" said Felicity frustrated. Felicity scowled at the comment that the truth spell was to help her make her decision. "I don't need help...well..." started Felicity and ended letting out another shriek of frustration. Felicity put her her head in her hands and after a thought she snapped it up again. "I could just shimmer out you know, and stay away from people for the next 24 hours," said Felicity though she had a feeling he wouldn't believe that since she didn't believe it herself. Felicity then realized how much of a big deal she was making of it, as if she had something to hide.

Chris nodded. "Ask me anything. I will answer it, I have no choice, but I have nothing to hide either. Do you?" He eyed her calmly, but he knew that he was getting to her, this was going to help, and he knew it. Whether it swayed her towards evil, at least she wouldn't be stuck in the middle anymore. Once again, he nodded. "Yes, you could shimmer into solitude, but where would that get you? You have this amazing opportunity to find out anything that you want. I know that you won't let that slip by you." He smiled. This was obviously the truth because at this moment, and for the next twenty-four hours, neither of them could lie.

"Hide? Not really, you know my powers, that I'm half demon, that I have chosen good or bad the only you dont' know is why I don't live in the Underworld but that's not exactly something to hide, really. I just hate truth spells," said Felicity not exactly wanting to but having to. At this rate I might as well tell him my whole life history right now! Felicity thought to herself. "What would I have to ask you?" asked Felicity and put her head in her hands. Finally she thought of something and looked up. "Which one of the Charmed One's child are you? What's your first name?" asked Felicity realizing she didn't know. But besides that what would she want to know? Like every other magical person in the world she didn't really give a damn about the Charmed Ones. "And what's so special about the Charmed Ones?" asked Felicity with a slight smirk.

Chris smiled. Not exactly the type of question that he had been expecting, but nonetheless, he would answer, he had to answer. "Well my name is Chris. I am Piper and Leo's son." He paused for a moment, trying to decide how to word his way of telling why the Charmed One's were so important. He decided a little history lesson would be the only correct way of doing it. "Well back in the time of the Salem Witch Trials, there was a woman named Melinda Warren. The beginning of the Halliwell line. She was a very powerful witch, with three powers. The power to move things with her mind, freeze time, and see the past and future. She is also the person who began the Book of Shadows. She foresaw that through the line of her daughters, there would come a time when there would be three sisters. They would each have one of her powers, and they would be the strongest witches the world has ever seen." He didn't know if that was a good enough explanation, but if she wanted to know more, he would tell her.

Felicity frowned, that didn't seem that special to her. Was that the demon in her? "So apart they're nothing?" asked Felicity simply saying what she was thinking. Then it occured to Felicity that he had answered her questions without asking one himself. "So, you cast a truth spell, might as well ask away right?" snapped Felicity. She was startign to remind herself of when she first came to the mortal world. Always snapping at everyone if she even talked to them. Now it was different, she would talk to people, be friendly. But not with a truth spells, she hated truth spells, maybe that's why she snapped at him, because it brought a part of her history back.

Chris shook his head lightly, smiling. "No. Apart, it's true that they are not as strong, but they are still basically the strongest witches around. Together the power of three can really beat anyone, but apart they are still each very powerful, and their powers have expanded much and so they are very strong." He listened to her. Honestly, he didn't really want to butt into her personal life, that wasn't the point of the spell.
"I didn't cast this spell to find out about your personal life. That you will tell me if you want, but I will in no way force you to do that. I cast this spell so that you can find out what you want, not for personal gain for my own knowledge."

"Oh," said Felicity with very small interest. She wasn't like any other person, she wasn't impressed or nervous at the Charmed One's power. And Felicity would have found Chris's attempt to help her irritating whether he was a Halliwell or not. Felicity listened to what Chris was saying with a frown growing on her face. She shook her head confused and said, "What?" Felicity had never been used to people doing things for her with nothing in it for themselves. "Plus, I know plenty about magic, but how the hell is any of that going to help me decide what side I'm on?"

Chris sighed lightly. "Magic is not the answer to help you find out." He looked up to the sky, pausing for a moment, before continuing. "The answer for what side you choose lies within your heart. But magic and powers are shrouding the answer that is within you. And with this spell, there will be nothing able to hide it. Nothing can stop the answer from coming out, whether you want it to or not. Fooling yourself can't turn out good, no matter what it's for. And so now you won't be able to lie to even yourself."

Felicity glared at Chris and tried to say she wasn't lying to herself but what came out instead was, "I'm not completely lying to myself." Felicity swore under her breath. She looked out to the side to see the cars passing. Felicity took a deep breath wishing that she could convince herself to leave. Not noticing she was invisible she finally said in a controlled voice, "Look I know you're trying to help but usually Pro and Con lists are better. Truth spells get on my nerves, my mom always cast them on myself and they usually got me in trouble with other demons. Saying crap and stuff to them because I couldn't stop them. That's how I learned how to fight better than what my mom taught me." Felicity hadn't inteded to tell him as much as she did but apparantly she had had no choice. She sat there staring at the cars still not aware that she was invisible.

Chris nodded lightly, at least she didn't seem so angry anymore, and they were able to have a normal conversation. "I'm sorry that truth spells have been bad to you. But I don't mean any harm by this one. It is only meant to help you." He listened to her little talk about saying bad things to demons. "Well, I can help you if you want. Be on standby, waiting for your call if you get in a tough spot, or be hidden somewhere in the room, very ready. Just incase you get in a tight spot where you know you are going to be forced to say something that you don't want to. I don't want that to happen, this spell was cast for one reason only." He smiled lightly as she turned invisible. It seemed as if she didn't even know, it was a bit funny, but he tried to keep his cool.

Felicity smiled and said, "Thanks, I know you were trying to help." She turned visible for a minute or two and then turned invisible again as she said, "But I can handle myself even if I don't have active powers." Felicity knew her voice had sounded a bit bitter then but she hated not having active powers. Felicity looked over and into his eyes for the first time that evening. Trying not to break eye contact she sensed understandment and then amusement. "What the hell is so amusing?" Felicity blurted out quickly breaking eye contact.

Chris smiled very brightly now, she had said thank you to him. This was major progress. But he thought too soon, as her next comment seemed very bitter. Though it wasn't directly rude to him, it kind of sounded that way. He knew that she didn't have any active powers, and now he knew that it kind of bothered her that she didn't. "I didn't mean to offend you. I just thought that you might like some help to get out of a tough spot. If you get in a tight situation I could distract them so it didn't seem like you were trying to avoid something, and they would never know I was helping you."
He shrugged lightly, she didn't need to accept his help if she didn't want it, he just thought that it was a nice thing to do, and he didn't mind doing it for her. When she kind of snapped at him asking what was funny, all that he did was point to her body, which at the moment, there wasn't really one to point at at all.
