Felicity shimmered onto the Golden Gate Bridge. She let out a breath and muttered, "Atleast I can control one power." She sat down and rubbed her temples. She had a head ache. First it started with coming into class and yelling out that she was there half a million times not late which scared half the class, until finally she walked out, went to the bathroom, and didn't see her reflection. Then she spent the rest of the day wondering whether now that she had finally started "turned" to good she was supposed to turn to evil (she only knew her mother as a demon). And then her best friend came to talk to her about her boyfriend breaking up with her and obviously Felicity didn't know how in love she was until she looked in her eyes and felt it all overwhelm her. Felicity sighed. She had invisibility powers, empath powers, and shimmering. How the hell she got empath powers she didn't know. She knew her mother had had shimmering and invisibility. And she didn't even have active powers. When she was little and grew up in the world she expected to have to energy balls, but did she? Noooo. "I'M ONLY 17!" Felicity scremed out overwhelmed with everything.

Chris silently orbed to the top of the Golden Gate Bridge, to try and get some thinking time in. He didn't really have much of that at home anymore, and so he needed as much as he could get. Once up there he noticed that there was someone else there. He was quiet enough that he was sure that she didn't hear him. He tried to sense something about her, but all that he got, was confusion.
Before he knew it, sure began yelling. He took a step backwards, making sure he didn't step off the edge, and watched from afar as he screamed about being seventeen. He didn't know why, but it was very odd, so he decided to reply, letting his presence finally be known. "And I'm only nineteen!" He smirked lightly as he said it, and waited for her reaction.

Felicity gasped and looked up as she saw someone on the bridge as well. She quickly got up making sure her eyes didn't meet with his. "I'm sorry...I uh didn't kn-know that you were here, I don't usually, actually not at all, see people on top of bridges, I've never actually been on a bridge before this..." said Felicity very quickly before finally she took a breath and said, "I'm Felicity." Felicity ran her fingers through her hair emberassed. She didn't know how this total stranger got up here until it occured to her that he had powers like she did. Then she wondered who this stranger was.

Chris kept the smairk on his face the whole time. He didn't know who she was either, well until she told him his name, but it was apparent to him that she may not be too familiar with magic, or she most likely would of known about him. "Yeah, normal people don't go on top of bridges, especially this one. But we're not normal. You know that." His smirk now changed to a smile as he orbed from one side of her to the other. He couldn't tell much about her, but he at least knew that she was magic, and so that was why he felt able to orb around her. He smiled lightly, waiting for her reaction.

Felicity laughed as the guy, who ever he was, said they weren't normal. If growing up in te Underworld hadn't taught her that she didn't know what would. "Well who needs normal anyways?" asked Felicity wiht a smile. To the moment she had forgetten her confusion about the powers she had gotten until she saw him orb. Her mother had taught her enough about magic to know that was a whitelighter power. "You're a...whitelighter?" asked Felicity still avoiding his eyes. She tried to keep the smile up but couldn't. Felicity was almost sure that he wouldn't like that she was half-demon.

Chris nodded lightly. He was glad that he could make her laugh, it meant to him that she wasn't completely cold-hearted, and she could somewhat be trusted, though he didn't know her at all. "Yeah, I'm half Whitelighter." He smiled, looking around, before taking a seat, criss-cross. "...And half Witch." Again the smile didn't falter. She seemed fairly familiar with magic, so it was kind of a surprise to him that she didn't know who he was, most magical people did. But he would wait until a little later to ask about that.

"Oh," said Felicity giving him a quick smile even though she didn't see how this was going to help her in a second. She sat down on her knees (technacally ankles but yeah...) across of Chris and said, "I'm half witch...atleast I think I must be thought I haven't heard of my dad. But I got powers my mom didn't have who was a..." Felicity was prepared to shimmer out at this point because her whole body could tell he wouldn't like it. Finally she took a deep breath and hoped he could her almost whisper as she said, "Demon." Now she didn't look at his forehead like she had been doing before to avoid his eyes, she looked at her knees and hoped he wouldn't get mad. Because she knew she wasn't like a demon anymore...not completely atleast.

Chris was slightly taken aback by finding out that she was half demon. He didn't hardly know of any half demons. Half Whitelighters were becoming much more common now that his mother and father had gotten the rule changed that whitelighters and witches could be together, but half demons, that was something new. He knew that it wasn't completely unheard of, his aunt Phoebe almost had a half and half child, but then had it taken away from her.
He wasn't quite sure what to think now. He knew that someone could have demon powers, but still want to be good. But he also knew that eventually the demon powers would almost always get to you somehow, and start making you want to use them for evil, whether you believe you ever will or not, sometimes they can just drive you to do that. But he knew one thing for sure, if people treated her like she was evil, she would become evil. Since that run in with the baby manticore he truly began believing that people could choose their own destinies, whether they wanted to be good or evil. "Well that's interesting. Haven't heard of many of those."

Felicity let out a bitter laugh as she relaxed and looked up at his face. "So that just adds to my level of abnormalness I suppose?" asked Felicity with slight bitter in her voice. She couldn't help it. She dreaded telling him this. She didn't know why she cared. As if she longed for him to accept her...maybe it was because he was the first person she met with powers. But she was raised as evil and she could tell he wasn't. She wasn't going to tell him of-course, but if made her feel guilty. Then Felicity remembered she might not acutally be good-she hadn't decided yet. That made her feel even worse and she looked down just in time to see her body disappear. Felicity closed her eyes trying to relax and thought to herself, Felicity, you're not exactly evil either. Just relax.' It didn't make her feel better but it must have done something because she opened her eyes her body was visible again. She looked back up and weakly said, "Invisibility, I got it from my mom along with shimmering."

Chris laughed lightly at the question about being half demon half witch adding to her abnormalness. "Trust me, I have seen much worse." He spread a smile across his face. "I am a Halliwell after all." This was the first time that he had actually spoken his name to her. He figured that if she was raised into a magical family, she would at least recognize the name to be that of the Charmed family.
He nodded lightly at her ability to turn invisible, but what interested him more, was her confused and somewhat scared look inbetween her two statements. It looked as if she felt guilty. Like she hadn't really chosen between good and bad. Hmm, that would be quite odd, not knowing where you belong on the scale of good and evil. He lightly raised an eyebrow, questioning her. "Well honestly, I'm kind of nosy. And by that look, it seems as if you haven't chosen where you stand between good and evil. Am I right?"

Felicity started to smile when he said that he had seen worse until he said he was a Halliwell. Wow. She looked up at him blankly. Of-course she knew who the Halliwells were. They had been a main target for oh so long. Felicity decided not to worry about it. He was a person after all, and he must be tired of recognized as a Charmed child. The question about whether she had chosen between good or evil surprised her even more. She opened her mouth to say something then closed it having no idea what to say. Finally she sighed and said, "Yeah, you're right, it's just..." Felicity trailed off not knowing how to explain the problem she had with choosing.

Chris could tell that she was having a hard time with this one. She was raised into a magical family, and evil one, yet not sure that's where she wanted to go in life, that would be a really hard thing to choose. You either betray your family and become good, or betray yourself and become bad. The only reason he knew that it would be betraying herself if she went bad is because if she even had any doubt in her mind about which side to choose she obviously had some good somewhere in her, he just needed to find it so that he didn't lose anyone to the dark side.
He smiled lightly. "You want my opinion?" He knew that she would know what his opinion was since he had Charmed blood he was going to want her to become good, but he wasn't going to say that. He wasn't going to wait for her answer either. "I think that if you are having this hard of a time deciding, that means you have good inside of you." He shrugged lightly, that was his two cents worth, he hoped that she took it to heart in making her decision.

Felicity sighed. She had known what Chris's opinion was but hearing it outloud made it harder. "But up to last year I would have chosen demon in a second...." said Felicity but then muttered to herself, "Well I lived in the Underworld that's the only thing I knew how to do." The she looked up at Chris and said, "I just feel that whatever I choose I'm the doing the right and wrong thing. Wihtout powers I was fine, I didn't have to think about it but now I have them when I don't want them anymore." Felicity looked past him to the water. Now she wasn't hiding anything from a guy she had met just a bit ago. And what did she know about him? Nothing. Bad demon qualities Felicity, bad.

Chris nodded lightly. In a strange sense, he knew what she was going through. He had been turned evil many times throughout his years as a witch, and he always had that struggle going on inside of him. He was turning into something evil, yet his morals still existed and he was still Chris, and he kept fighting to retain his good side. It was a hard battle, and so it must be hard to go through it every day of your life, and know that it's not because your infected from a demon, but because you really don't know.
"Well I can see where you're coming from. I personally don't really want to lose you to evil though. I know you have good in you."

Felicity looked back at her almost meeting his eyes before she caught herself and looked away. She didn't know what to respond to what Chris was. Part of her agreed yet part of her felt the need to disagree. Finally she did the only thing she could think of. She laughed lightly and said, "You're a Halliwell, I should think you try to find good in everyone whether or not they grew up in the Underworld?" Felicity regretted the words as soon as they left her lips. He was trying to help her, she knew that much and she wasn't doing much for her. Apart from all that she still didn't take back what she said, a part of her wanted to se how'd he respond.
