Dahni Halliwell stepped up to the door of the Halliwell Manor and knocked three times. She waited out in the freezing cold weather, hoping that someone would answer. Oh my gosh, this is my first time meeting them! she thought to herself. Excitement flooded her whole body. It was her first time meeting her entire family. She couln't very well remember them, she was only about 2 or 3 when they died. She waited, shivering. Pulling her heavy pink snow coat around her body, and sighed.

Piper had just finished cooking lunch when she heard someone knocking on the front door. She went over to the door and pulled it open to see a young girl dressed in pink. She didn't recognise her though. "Hello," she said kindly.

"Are you Piper Halliwell?" Dahni asked nervously. She did have a picture of her grandmother, she found it while searching, and this woman looked exactly like her. "I'm Dahni--Dahni Halliwell." She figured Piper wouldn't recognize her, though Dahni looked exactly like her mother, Melinda Halliwell--Piper's daughter. "I just moved here and was just well walking around. I've heard a lot about you and your club, that's how I know your name," she explained.

"Yes," said Piper when the girl asked her if she was Piper Halliwell. Next the girl said she was Dahni Halliwell. She knew this was most likely, well, not true because of the name Halliwell. She didn't expect any the future Halliwells to let them know immeadiately that they were related to the Charmed Ones. When Phoebe, Piper and Prue had time-traveled back they had tried not to let anyone know of it. Also another time when Paige had gotten sent back thanks to grams who had put a spell on a piece of clothing, And Piper and Phoebe followed her of course, they had tried to conceal their identity.
After Dani had finished talking she said, "Excuse me but did you see your name was Halliwell?" she asked.

Dahni nodded. "Yes, I did." Maybe she should have used a fake name, but hey, she had never time traveled before, it was a first for her, as were her powers. Ahhh, what am I doing? I'm so stupid!

Melinda ran down the last couple of stairs. Picking her bag up on the way. "Hey mom... bye mum." She was already late for cheerleading practice, and she was the captain so it wasn't good.

"Melinda wait," said Piper, stopping her daughter. She felt rather alone in her witch duties lately, everyone kept running off. "Sorry but there are no Halliwells except for us. Who are you?" The last Halliwell who wasn't related to them had died years ago....because of them.

"Mom I have cheerleading practice I'm the captain I need to go..." She sighed knowing that this was one argument she wasn't going to win. "Fine I'll ring and say that a family emergency has come up again." She said taking her phone out of her bag.

Dahni stared at Melinda. It was her mum. She had seen the pictures that were salvaged from the rubble of the Manor. Dahni felt like she was going to cry. "I'm your--" she couldn't pull herself to say it though. She had never known them, and here she was in the past. She held out her hand and called, "Tissue box!" The box appeared in her hand and she took one to wipe her tear-filled eyes.

"Well that's to bad, i'm sick of having to do all the you-know-what work by myself," said Piper to Melinda's excuse. "Besides, is cheerleading more important to you? If it is then fine go, i'll handle everything myself- nothing new," she added, hoping that the guilt trup would work. Piper then looked back up to see Dahni Halliwell wiping her eyes. Piper had dealt with many demons before, it wasn't her fault she always had to be on the look out. "I"m sorry but did you hear me?" she asked. She hated seeming so inconsiderate. She's just a child, she reminded herself. But what if she turns out to be dangerous? Once Piper, Phoebe and true had been fooled up but little "kids" who turned out to be dangerous demons and could only be captured by an ice-cream truck. That was a long time ago.

"Table," she said to the box, finishing. Dahni saw the tissue box orb back to the table. "Yeah Grams, I did hear you." She realized what she had said, because she covered her mouth very quickly. Oh, I didn't mean to say that, she thought, wanting to kick herself.

"Grams?" asked Piper, taking a step back. If that was a mistake, it sure was a careless one. "Ok, listen honey. My oldest kid is certainly not old enough to have a daughter your age yet," she said, wondering what Dahni was going to say next.

"Which is probably why I'm going to be born about 8 years in the future to the girl talking on the phone, Grams," Dahni said, blooming with sarcasm and grinning. She brushed a string of her curly brown hair behind her ear. She pulled out out a picture of Piper, Melinda, and herself as a baby. "Proof, if you need it."

Piper took the picture from her. "And if you want us to believe this, why don't you have a picture of us with you when you were a child, and why does this picture look like it's been in rubble?" she asked, noticing the jagged, slightly burned edges. She had to admit, minus the white streak Dahni's hair was like Melinda's and Her's.

"B-Be-because you all died when I was 2, almost 3 years old. There was an ambush of demons, Grandpa gave me to another whitelighter to keep safe, in case anything bad happened," she took a pause, and continued, "And it did happen, the house was destroyed, everyone was -- well, I was raised in an orphanage. No magical family wanted me, because in case another attack happened on them. I finally recieved my powers after I came back to what was left of the house. The Book of Shadows was alright, though the edges were burnt. I found the spell to come back in time, and so here I am."
