Dahni sneaked downstairs, dressed in her mother's pajamas that she borrowed. She was starving, and luckily there was a fridge filled with food--she had skipped dinner. The Kitchen was empty and dark, so she turned on the light, and headed straight for the fridge. She took out the deli meat and placed it on the counter, along with the mustard. "Bread," she whispered, and in an instant it came to her. She hoped nobody would mind.

Piper couldn't sleep- she didn't feel comfortable. There was just too much going on. Dahni had arrived the day before, and that rather than adding to the confusion it seemed to lessen the tension. Possibly because despite all the pain she had went through, Dahni had stayed a cheerful teen. She went downstairs and into the kitchen, seeing Dahni there. "Hi..."

Dahni stood there holding the bread to her chest. She froze when she saw her grandma standing there. "Um... hi," she said, putting the bread down quickly. "I hope you don't mind, I skipped dinner," she explained.

Leo tossed and turned in the bed but he couldn't sleep. He opened his eyes, to find Piper gone. 'She probably couldn't sleep either' he said to himself as he got up and threw on some clothes. He opened the bedroom door and wandered down the stairs into the kitchen. When he turned the corner, he found Piper and Dahni there. "Hey guys" he said as he wandered over to the table, taking a sideways glance at Piper and Dahni. "I hope I am not interrupting anything....I can go back upstairs if you want" he said as he stood there, watching the two of them.

"No, it's ok, you can eat it. Why did you skip dinner?" she asked, pulling out a chair for herself and taking a seat at table, and indicating that Dahni could do the same if she wanted. "But there's so many of us it's not all that obvious if one person skips a meal," she smiled. At that moment Leo walked in. "No you're not interupting anything," she replied.

"I didn't want to interupt anything, I was upstairs looking through the book for any ideas or memories that would come to me," Dahni said. She put her sandwich on a paper plate and orbed everything back where it belonged. Sitting down, she stared at the table, not saying anything. She felt very awkward.

"Dahni, you wouldn't interrupt anything. After all, you're family," Leo said as he smiled at her. He turned to Piper. "Why couldn't you sleep?" he said as he smiled at her. He did sort of wonder about that. But as long as she was ok, he was too.
