Piper sat at the kitchen table, moving the rice around her plate with a depressed expression on her face. She missed the times where at night, they'd all sit down and enjoy eachother's company, or at least her and her sisters, or herself and Leo. Even if it was just in P3. It felt good after a bad day. Now Paige was practically living at Magic School, she had no clue where Phoebe was and Leo was....well she didn't know where Leo was either.
That was when the the kids were small. Now they were growing up.....Aphrodite had moved out, and she knew for a fact Melinda was hidng something from her and Leo. Alexlia had proved that as well- Piper didn't trust demons but it was too much to be a coincedence. She wasn't sure what to do though. She had asked Melinda about it before but....nothing.

Paige came down stairs from the attic. Her ankle recovering from when it was twisted badly because of the stupid demon. She was more lucky than what the clock was. She saw Piper. "Hey sis" She limped over to her and sat down. "I am really getting sick of demons now."

"So am I," said Piper in a slightly monotone voice. Demons was the reason why she couldn't live anormal life. She had learned to live with it a long time ago but that didn't mean she liked it. There were a few times she almost gave up her powers (but in the end she still had them/got them back) and sometimes she wondered what life would be if she did give up her powers. After all, she still knew the spell..."Who isn't?" she added, realising how silent she was, and Piper + Thinking = not good.

"Hey whats going on in that head of yours?" Paige didn't like the way that piper had gone suddenly quiet. Piper thinking was never good.

"What?" asked Piper, raising her head up to look at Paige. "Oh, Nothing," she lied. Last time she had even hinted wanting to get rid of her powers, Paige wanted to murder her. "Why did you think something was going on in my head?" she asked. Sometimes their 6th sense that Leo had told them about once, where they could finish each others sentences or help them to co-operate so well could be a bit annoying.

"Piper Patricia Halliwell! stop making me act like the older sister." Paige said sternly, using the voice that Piper had used against her so many times. "I know when somethings going on in your head piper.... you can talk to me."

Piper Patricia Halliwell blah blah blah, thought Piper mockingly in her head. Piper was very amusing to be around when she was in this mood....in a depressed kind of way. "Hey that's my voice," she said, propping her elbow on the kitchen table and resting her head on it.

Paige narrowed her eyes, She hated when Piper was in this kind of mood, because no one could talk any sense into her. Why did paige have to act like the oldest sister - the responsible one. She hated it.

Piper noticed Paige's narrowed eyes. "Whats gotten into you?"she asked, arching an eyebrow from her position on the table. She took up a piece of potato from a dish on the table and put it in her mouth. "I mean apart from your ankle of course."

Phoebe wandered into the manour. She was tired and felt lonely, the smudges under her eyes from lack of sleep were as dark as bruises. She spotted her sisters and smiled softly her sad eyes glistening, "hi guys."

"Hey Phoebe," said Piper, though her voice didn't sound the same considering her mouth was full. This wasn't the Piper they all knew and loved. "What's with the bruises?" she asked.

Pheobe brushed her fingertips under her eyes, "I just haven't gotten sleep lately." She sighed and sat down at the table with her sister and rested her head in her hands.

Piper's head snapped up. It was easy to get her out of that mood if she got worried about one of her sisters. "Why not?" she asked, concern edging her voice.

Pheobe looked at her sister with sad eyes, "honey what's wrong." She took Piper's hand, "this isn't like you. Has something happened? Tell me, please." Pheobe watched her sister and waited.

Piper sighed. "It's just how we used to sit at the Club after a long day and relax and enjoy ourselves and we never do that anymore," Piper complained, in a very unPiper like way. "And I want us to be able to do that again but we're always occupied with something else."
