Alexandra walked the streets of the dead city. Really, there was many people out and about, but Alex was caught in her thoughts, so she didn't pay any attention to them. Right now, she should be dancing the night away, like a crazy party animal. But she didn't know where anybody was. She needed to keep more in touch with her friends. They were probably out having fun, and flirting with guys, as she walked the streets. One word; alone. It wasn't fun at all. A few moments passed, and her eyes turned blue. Alexandra was alone..sad..being alone made her sad. She liked to be with people and having fun; you had to keep her entertained every single second of the day for her not to be bored.

Lucas walked silently and swiftly through the streets of San Francisco. He had always hated crowded area's, so he hated walking these streets. He wasn't necessarily clauterphobic but he kind of felt that way when there was too many people around him, he couldn't handle it very well. He was having a small little anxiety attack at the amount of people walking along the streets when he bumped into a girl, that seemed to be in her own world. He stopped and turned around to apologize, but then noticed something about her. It was his little natural ability to tell things about people. She was giving off this vibe that he had felt many times before, but couldn't quite put his finger on, so he found himself just staring at her.

Alexandra looked to the sky. it was starting to turn a dark blue; how she liked it. She wasn't a fan of the sun and besides, it was more fun to party at night. Alex was still caught in her own thoughts, until someone bumped into her. Turning around, she started to yell, until she saw it was a guy. A cute one for that matter. Uh, sorry I wasn't paying attention. Alexandra said, awkwardly. Oh, nice Al. Real nice. Make yourself look stupid, why don't ya?! She thought to herself, shaking her head. Mmm, Hi. I'm Alexandra. You can call me Alex, Al, whatever you feel pleased with. She said, smiling and showing her fangs, but closing her mouth quickly, because she didn't want to scare the guy away or anything. Within a few seconds, she noticed that the guy was staring at her, and she did the same with her bright green eyes. When the staring became a bit unusual for her, she looked away.

Lucas was still puzzled at what she was that was so familiar to him. The only thing that came to his mind was magic, but he couldn't just assume that, because that could turn out bad. That was until she tried to smile at him, and her fangs were exposed. His jaw dropped immediately. He didn't know much of magic since he was fairly new to it, but of course he had heard of vampires before, though he didn't know that they really existed. He couldn't think of a single thing to say. The only thing that came to his mind came out before he could stop it... "Va.. Vampire..."

Alex frowned as his jaw dropped.Way to go. Smart move, Al. She thought to herself, shaking her head. Why did she always do that? When she smiled, she scared people away instead of getting them to become friends with her.Um. I'm sorry..didn't mean to scare you..I'll leave now. Alexandra said softly to the boy. Turning on her heel, she started to walk slowly away, and her eyes turned a darker shade of blue. That wasn't even cool.

Lucas was still kind of in shock when he realized just how rude he had been. He was really afraid that she was going to try and bite him, because that's the only thing that he had ever heard about vampire's, but instead she seemed to be really nice, and kind of hurt that he was rude to her. Lucas hated being a rude person, so he figured that even though she was a vampire, he ought to at least apologize to her. And since she was magic, he didn't have a problem using his in front of her. And the streets were so busy that no one would notice a little shimmer.
Lucas disappeared from the spot that he was in and shimmered to right in front of Alexandra. He looked around, but nobody seemed to notice that he had done it. He stood there and waited for her to say something because he wanted to see her reaction to him being magic.

She continued walking away, not hearing any shuffling from the boy behind her. Alex was still a little taken by his reaction and it had definately put her down. Guys had that effect on her, but if it would had been a girl, Allie probably would have told them off. Looking up, she stopped as the guy appeared in front of her. So he was magic. So.. you're magic, too..Alexandra said. She was kind of surprised that he shimmered, especially in public. But she was also a bit surprised that he came up to her, after his reaction. In confusion, she tilted her head, a bit surprised that she ran into someone that was magic.

Lucas sighed lightly. "Look, I'm sorry that I acted that way." He looked downcast because he really did feel bad, she seemed like a nice person, so he thought that he should at least explain why he did act the way that he did. "I am new to this whole magic thing... and so the only reference that I had to vampire's was the blood sucking sicko's that the books and movie's tell us about you. I'm sorry, because obviously you don't seem like you are like that." He sighed again. He hated judging people before he knew them, but it was a habit, and everyone did it, whether they admitted it or not.

It's okay. I guess not all people actually know about real vampires. She grinned slightly, smiling again, hoping he wouldn't leave. Yeah yeah yeah. I friggin want to hurt the makers of those movies. We can control ourselves, and don't bite people unless they threaten us. And I, myself, bite animals..and suck their blood. It seems a little awkward to bite another human. Reminds me of cannibalism. It seemed a little awkward to talk to a non-vampire about that kind of stuff. But hey, she was gonna have to get use to it.It's fine..so would you like to walk with me? Or are you afraid I'm gonna bite your neck or something. Alexandra said, giving a sweet and innocent smile, but soon regretted saying it.

((Just to let you know, you just Carlie, lol.))
Lucas smiled, glad that she was going to accept his apology. He didn't like people not to like him, even though he was shy and didn't talk to too many people, if they began talking to him, he didn't want them getting the wrong first impression that he was a rude person. "Sure, I will walk a ways. No I won't worry about you biting me. I can defend myself." He had paused a little bit before adding the last part, and made sure that it was known in his voice that it was very sarcastic and joking, he didn't want her to take it the wrong way.

((Thanks for telling me lol. I have another charrie named Carlie on another site..guess I got them mixed up. haha.))
Alexandra smiled back, sighing. The world around her started to spin and she got a little dizzy from the moment. Wow. What a night of emotions. Looking back at Lucas, her eyes turned Pink. She was in a good mood again, and that was definately a good thing.Mk. And that's a good thing..didn't want you to take me as a freak or something. She replied, knowing he was only being sarcastic.
At this moment, Alex wished she had her skateboard with her. Skateboarding was always fun for her. Clearing her throat, trying to figure out how to put it, she asked, So...Umm. Are you evil? ..Or.. Her voice cut off, and she sighed. Or good? If he said he was good, it was definately going to hit her hard..and she wasn't prepared for that. But, oh well. He was just a guy..right? Would she actually NOT take it against him if he was good?

Lucas was trying to be as nice as possible to Alexandra, but he couldn't figure out why he was being so nice to him. He knew that the movies and stuff were not completely wrong, vampire's were not on the side of good, they were evil, and there was no denying that. So when her next question came out, he knew it would. For some reason he knew that she hoped he was evil, he just had a feeling, but he was going to have to disappoint her.
"Well I would like to think of myself as good." He smiled lightly, leaving it at that, obviously she knew that he was a demon, or part demon, because he shimmered to her. So he wondered if she would follow up on the question or anything, so he left it at that.

Alexandra didn't know what to do. What if he was good? Her world started spinning. She didn't like anything that was good. Once he gave his reply her jaw dropped, unintensionally. Oh crap. Look what you got yourself into, Al. She tought to herself. Alex wanted to be friends with the guy, but she hated good. What was she to do? Just tell him off? She couldn't do that.. what was she thinking, talking to someone that she didn't know whether they were good or evil. Alex sighed, speachless. In the next few seconds, her eyes turned back and forth between blue and red. But he had shimmered, so he was halfly demon, right? ..but he still wanted to be good. A chill ran down her spine at the thought of him being good. And she had just met the guy, so why was this such a big deal? ....

Lucas could tell that his answer was surprising and kind of... hurting her at the same time. She didn't want him to be good, he got that, but it was kind of a surprise to him to see just how surprised she was to find out. He sighed lightly, looking at her eyes changing back and forth colors. "This is what I don't understand. You can be all 'buddy buddy' with a person, but then when you find out that they are not evil, you freak out. You didn't have a problem with them before, why would you now?" She must know that not everyone she meets on the street is going to be evil, but yet she talked to him and tried making friends with him first, it just didn't make any sense to him.

Why exactly was this so surprising to her? Probably because she had wanted to be good friends with the guy. But she had always been taught not to like anything or anyone good. Her family would practically kill her...but her family weren't there anymore, nor alive. Alex's eyes stopped changing colors, turned to there normal green color, and she calmed herself down. It was that big of a deal, was it?I know I know. I want to be friends with you. But I was always taught not to like anything good. It doesn't really matter though, anymore..I guess. She was still young though and didn't know what to do. I'm sorry. It just surprised me. I guess I wasn't expecting you to actually be..evil. And I wanted to be friends with you, so I..didn't know what to do. Alexandra said. Nor do you know what to do now.. Alex thought about it for a moment. Not everyone you're gonna see is going to be evil. And you can't walk around making friends with people then decide you don't like them, when they tell you that they are evil, Al! She thought silently.
