Paige stared at the stacks of paper on her desk. She didn't even know what half of the papers were for. She looked around her office and sighed. This was her home away from home, or at least that's what it had become over the last couple of months. Ever since the Elders had contacted her about the Evil Institute things had been hectic, at Magic School and at the manor. She knew she had been somewhat neglecting her family and she hated it. She sighed as started sorting through the papers.

Chris hesistantly stood outside Paige's door at magic school. He had been helping out a lot there lately, and had kind of become one of the teacher's, in a sense. It seemed like the only time that he saw his aunt anymore was at this school, she wasn't around very often, but she knew that she had her work cut out for her here. Just being here as often as he was was tough. The people there had grown accustomed to him, and so he had recently taken over one of the teacher's position while she went on vacation, but hadn't told any of the family yet, because he didn't want a big deal made out of it.
He could tell that Paige had been super stressed lately and he just wanted to help her, but he wasn't sure if this was the right time. He sighed lightly. "This is as good of time as ever," he said lightly as he slowly pushed open her office door without knocking. A small but nervous smile spread across his face. "Hi. I don't mean to interupt but... how are you doing?"

Paige looked up a bit startled. She smiled though when she saw it was her nephew. "Oh, hey Chris. Come in, have a seat." As she waited for him to sat down she gave a sigh,"Actually I'm glad you stopped by. I need something to pull me away from my work, now more than ever."
She pushed everything to the side and said,"I'm as fine as can be expected you know. I mean with the Evil Institute popping up and training newer and younger demons, not to mention the Evil Charmed Ones, along with Cole being the new source and him taking a new queen, everything has just been....hectic," she said for lack of a better word.

Chris sighed lightly.. he was glad that she was glad to see him, but still a rather depressing topic came up right away. "Well it's to be expected." he said lightly. "The stress that is." He walked further into her office and sat down in one of the most comfortable chairs, letting a small smile glide over his lips. "But we can get through it. We have faced bad people like this before... maybe not this many at once... but there is more than just three of you, you know." He sighed once he finished that. He had a feeling that they might not like to hear that there is more than just them three, but it was true. All of their kids had Charmed blood in them, and could re-create the power of three whenever necessary.

Paige nodded,"Everything you said is very true. Unfortunately though Piper, Phoebe, and I don't like to think of you kids fighting. Yeah, sure you've all unfortunately grown up around demon attacks and yes your guys are grown or almost grown depending on who it is, but you've got to understand that to us, you guys are still are babies. I mean the time you got attacked by those scabber demons, all your mom could think about was how you were her little baby boy, and that happened just last year."

Chris smiled lightly, he knew that she was right, but she also needed to know that they could handle themselves. He looked up lightly to his aunts eyes and knew that she was completely serious about this, and he did understand, but she also needed to understand their point of view. "Aunt Paige, I get that, I truly do. But what you guys need to understand is that we aren't babies anymore. We can take care of most demons now, without problem at all, just like you guys." He didnt' want to push to subject too much, but he thought that she needed to know that, hopefully they would be taking some stress off of them.

"Okay, okay Chris I see what you're saying. The older children...wait I'm sorry...the young adults of the house will be taken into consideration. Of course, I have to talk to Piper and Phoebe about it along with Henry, Coop, and Leo. Besides the extra help will be good for all of us. Maybe then I can spend more time at home."

Chris smiled lightly, finally they were going to be taken seriously at their own home. That would be a nice change for once. And as she said this, it seemed like the perfect time to tell her about his little job here at her school, that she didn't even know about. "About having more time at home..." He paused for a second, not really sure how what he was going to say had to do with her being home more often, but the time just seemed right to him.
"As you may have noticed, I have been spending a lot of time at this school lately. The students and teachers have gotten to respect me." He paused once more, deciding to just move on to the main part of the statement. "Well you have been really busy lately, obviously. So Agatha needed to take a vacation for the next two weeks with her family, and I am covering her classes for her." He blinked his eyes closed slightly, hoping that Paige didn't get angry with him for not approving this with her first.
((Okay, I just picked the name Agatha lol, it would be a teacher in the school, haha.))

Paige's face glowed as she smiled happily. She stood up and walked over. "Why didn't you tell me, this is great!" she said as she bent down and hugged him. She stood up straight and said,"It'll be great to have another Halliwell in Magic School who isn't a student," she said putting her hand on her hip.
Even though she didn't say it at anytime, Magic School was really taking a toll on her mentally and socially.

Chris still had his eyes closed when his aunt began hugging him. They shot open with surprise and he stood up quickly. He didn't know why, but for some reason he expected Paige to be mad about him not telling her, and her employee not telling her. But if was all to take some stress off of her for the time being. He smiled lightly, glad that she was happy. "Well, I am here to help." His smile brightened slightly as he just watched how excited his aunt was. He was happy to be there too, he like most the kids there, and he felt like he could really get through to them because he was fairly close to some of their ages.

Paige smiled and then that smile disappeared. "Does Piper know about this? Or wait what about Leo?" Paige figured they didn't know becuase they would have surely mentioned it to her. She didn't know how Piper would react. Leo of course probably wouldn't take it as hard as Piper but of course they were both full of surprises.

Chris was extremely excited that his aunt was so happy for him, but then he noticed that her smile seemed to disappear, so his did as well. And not long after, the question he knew would come, came. His parents, they didn't know. But he didn't think that they would really care, seriously, was it really that big of a deal that he was working there? "Well, no, not exactly." Chris said lightly as he blinked his eyes closed, feeling a little bit of guilt for not telling his parents.

Paige laughed. "Okay well you're going to have to tell them. There's two ways it could go. One, they say no or two they say okay. I mean sure technically you are an adult which we all forget every now and then but you should still include your parents in your decisions. It's up to you when to tell them just don't wait to long."

Chris sighed lightly, of course, he needed to tell his parents, but he hoped a problem wouldn't arise. He didn't see why one would though. Leo taught at magic school, and he didn't see why Piper would have a problem with it either, he really just hoped that they didn't because then that would ruin his day. "I know that I need to tell them, and I think that they will be fine with it, I hope at least. I don't see why they would have a problem with it..." He really didn't know why they would, and hoped that they wouldn't.

Paige nodded. "They probably won't have a problem with it." She looked at her watch and said,"You should get going. Your class starts in a few minutes." She smiled and gave her nephew another hug. She was so happy he had found something he was really passionate about.
